I've been patient for quite some time, but now is the time for action. Months ago Sega announced a group of games for release in Japan under the CoolCool brand for Xbox. Now the only game I care about in that list is of course Illbleed, quite possibly the greatest game I have ever played. Since the announcement was made however, things have fallen silent...dreadfully so. Now I realize the game was never announced for the US, but I have to demand that it be released here...

...please?

you know, the dreamcast version is still pretty easy to find...

I don't think any major enhancements were going to be made for the xbox port.

Why would you want this game? This game is pure crap. The music and graphics are so bad that it's not even funny.

Illbleed is fun if you take the game as it is meant to be taken - a spoof on bad horror movies / survival horror games.

Graphics were all right - but I do agree with you about the music. But again, graphics and music aren't the qualifications on what makes a good game.

As far as the Dreamcast version goes, I still have my copy...a working Dreamcast on the other hand has always eluded my grasp!

You have to admit, it's hard to put into words the excitement, the anxiety, the sheer pleasure one takes in their journey thru the catacombs underlying Chateau Banballow. (Complete with Gym sized shower room!) A magical place where senior management lies beyond every corner, ready to set your soul on fire, literally!

I never got to beat Queen Worm?

So far, the only game in the coolcool series that has come out is "Rent-A-Hero". Haven't heard anything on the other games.

Yup,

Agreed. I hate the controls SOOO much. It is the only game that made me throw down my controller in anger.

Apparently...I'm in a rather small minority...and proud of it!

And yet, they are still a thousand times better than Resident Evil's controls.

Well,

I like the the controls in RE. I could never beat the boss in the 1st stage in Illbleed. I couldn't jump on the rafts w/o falling into the water. Cuz I couldn't see where I was going. Plus not being able to jump as high as I wanted.

I think it was the Y button, it's the dodge button. The giant Banballow won't be able to hit you, makes it a lot easier, oh and head to the left first.

And to nintendo, Illbleed is a survival horror title for the Sega Dreamcast. (Announced last year for Xbox in Japan.) The premise is that you and your friends are invited to a horror theme park, Illbleed! The park's attractions are B-rate horror movies made by the park's puveyor, Michael Reynolds. If you can make it thru all 6 you win the big money. With intuitive controls and slight hint of cheese, it stole my heart away and refuses to give it back.

I would buy an xbox for this game alone. I hope they release it.

LOL pwned. I tried RE3 for the first time on my DC and I was like WTF? RE2 was one of the greatest of all time and RE3 is like the same game? To this day I dont understand how RE has sold millions.
