machine guns

i bought a gatling, so i go into a game and put my Daga Stag and gatling on, and it only lets me use 1 of them. i can stick them on the same pallete, but only the one i put on first shows up, whats goin on here?

you must press the up-arrow key to use the machine gun, you can change this to be click rather than hold (best option in my opinion) but at any one time, you can only use one hand. The switch goes fast, since it just changes which hand is being used. this works for handguns/1hblades as well. Also forces use this to switch spells on a rod.

no thats not it i know how to use ranger lol it doesnt equip both of them, it puts both on the pallete slot but only the one i put on first equips

You know what, I have a question for people who've used the Mechguns (or Machineguns... whatever you want to call 'em!) both on and offline.

Are they BETTER online then they are offline? Offline they're just PP hogs. You mow a single mob down and it takes 5 minutes to refresh your PP, and the weapon itself doesn't even do much damage.

Don't get me wrong, I love them, but I just get the feeling that they aren't as good as people seem to think they are if they're the same as they are offline.

Machineguns are one-handed , all you'll ever be able to equip in that other hand is a dagger or saber or claw (when they exist).

Dual machineguns would be overkill in PSU. A well-grinded, high-Bullet Machinegun can already do pretty insane damage, though it's juiced of energy quickly.

i use 5 machine guns and
mukpat=best rank c spear=2000
machine gun, 350each...has like 260 charge
only 2mesos cheap ones to fully recharge one-guns
cheap cheap...well other guns work well
but im the spray and pray type then
hack and slash with distance

out of bullets...then bring ur spear, kicks as
and keeps u safe at least enough to make it
to another block or cube thing to recharge

if u cant affored some 350 and one 2k weapon...
then u might as well fight with ur bare hands and feet

plasma machine guns + lv 10 skills = complete ownage. the enemy canno attack and you can just wail away withou fear of lost hp. That said, machine guns are almost too effective at status effects. I love going through de ragon B and watching the enemies light up in flames from a burst of machine gun fire, about 100 pp per mob and I can regen that while walking/meleeing.
