Well bill goldberg contract with the wwe is offically over after wrestlemania, nothing has yet to be confirmed if he will resign with the company or not is still up in the air. The wwe at first did a bad job on his character at the begining when he debuted on march 31st of 2003 but started to give him a push around july and ended up winning the world title in september only to lose it in late december, which was a very poor decision to do so because he was really over with the fans, but still is but has had a so-so storyline going for him thus far but if he were to come back after this wrestlemania i think and i know all of fansof goldberg thinks should happen is if goldberg go back to the way he was back in wcw which made him so popular to begin with which was destroy everone in his path. post your thoughts.
I think Goldberg sucks personally.. anways.
I dont think the WWE did a bad job. Problem is everyone thought he sucked.... Its took them till july to get people even remotly intrested in him. I dont think he was even remotly over till after the summer if he was at all. Sure they could PRETEND he was over all they wanted and if you ve never seen it live you wouldnt know the diffrence. WWE came here 3 times last year and Goldberg came out to a whole arena BOOING every time. Nothing like 10000 people screaming GOLDBERG SUCKS! Yet oddly enough when raw came on later the whole crowd APPEARED to be cheering. WHAT A BUNCH OF BULL.
Goldbergs deal had him not losing to anyone he didnt want to lose to. Great all the top names in the business have the same clause, and no one wants to lose to each other... I thought Goldbergs schtick in wcw was weak anyway. what 150 something wins in a row, to scrubs. Big deal. Oh no its Goldberg and his 3 moves..... See if they woulda taken the Kevin Nash angle as the only guy to beat goldberg right at the start, they coulda bumped him up as a LEGITIMATE threat right away. HE sucks on the mic, he sucks in the ring..... I never understood the appeal.

Goldburg is going to destroy brock..
Well at least someone around here is postive towards goldberg and to add straycats comments about goldberd, he doesnt only have 3 moves that get the crowd going, maybe your not familar with his wcw days he did plently of grappling moves and subbmission against other wrestlers, the only reason he hasnt done thos moves in the wwe is because the lack of t.v time he gets now. And if you read up on goldberg the guy is a professional fighter, hes also fought in PRIDES PPVs and while he fought for them he was undefeated as well so i wouldnt call him a joke in wrestling and YES i have been live to several LIVE events and only once has the crowd booded him but after he beat ric flair with the jackhammer he got a huge pop and when he wrestled in new york at madison square gardens the crowd went nuts (this on the other hand was when he first got to the wwe)
Well actually i was using exageration to make a point.... i shoulda said 5 moves. yeah i m 30 and remember all of his WcW days. And yeah most of his matches lasted 30 secs or less.and went like
goldberg gets hit
he freaks out
he punches scrub
whips them into the ropes
spears them
jackhammers.
well thats 98 % of goldbergs matches in WcW. The ONLY time he used these AMAZING grappling skills were against bigger superstars like STING or BRET HART, who BOTH beat him by the way before outside interference let goldberg to win to keep there champ looking oh so powerfull. ANd those matches were few and far between. He was too busy wrestling gillberg or stevie ray or other scrubs the other 160 wins.. And you know why he gets no tv time? NO MIC SKILLS, and no crowd POP. If goldberg was so over as you imply they wouldnt be dumping his contract.
And yeah i know goldberg is a professional fighter. What does that have to do with wrestling. There two DIFFRENT things. Wrestling is entertainment right? Tank Abott was a pro fessional fighter and a pretty good one at that at ONE POINT IN HIS CAREER, but does that mean he wasnt a joke in wreslting in his WcW days?

Well here are all of goldberg victoms, all 173 of them and i wouldnt say their all nobodys, but yeah at first all he really fought was mid carders but after wcw was getting heat from the media saying "all goldberg does is fight midcarders and his matches only last 30 seconds" but it was this that made wcw rethink his character and let him fight some top superstars from curt henning, the giant, hulk hogan, Sting, DDP, scott hall, bam bam bigelow just to name a few and he ended up beating sid vicious, kevin nash, lex lugar so its not like he hasnt beaten the big names and to add to his wwe victoms The Rock, Triple H one on one at unforgiven, ric flair.

Well i have to disagree with you in some points, first of all brock is lousy on the mic, i dont know what the wwe is doing to his career (their ruining it) I dont know if you saw SMACKDOWN 2 WEEKS ago where brock was begging vince for a match against goldberg and he was crying in the process, the guy suppose to be unstoppable and here he is cryin in the middle of the ring, and he had a winning streak as well 8 months of being undeatfed streak as well. Sure he has good in ring skills but has kinkof fallin apart since joining the wwe 2years ago and has also put on some weight. but thats not the point goldberg and brock are both evenly matched, but they both suck on the mic, neither of them like to lose. OH and goldberg new contract talks are still in the mix so he not gone foresure yet
