man... those reviews werent joking people. This is one of xbox... no...no..no.. GAMING'S FINEST GAMES!

and im getting this just off the demo people.

I will admit the camera system is annoying and the game is challenging but the things you get to do and the weapons and oh god... the nunchucks were soooo tight!

just rediculous... i did a 101 combo and was tearin' them white ninjas up!!!

The boss battle is incredible... i've never been challenged like that before. Normally on bosses there's a pattern but on this one you just have to hope he lets down his guard... It was like playing DOA mixed with Soul Caliber.

If you havent pre-ordered this game... smack yourself and go pre-order it!

If you don't have a xbox... smack yourself again and get one, then pre-order ninja gaiden, AND PLAY THIS GAME!!!

I got this game a while back when it was leaked on the internet.
I think it get pretty much repeative, allot like devil may cry in many ways.
Yea, it a good game, but it too repeative and get bore of it fast, like I did with devil may cry.

Some how my BS detector is blaring telling me that you have yet to experince Ninja Gaiden. And belive me, it is an experince. Most people say judging a game based on the demo is bad...but given the straight foward style to the game, you can pretty much gather how the rest of it will play based on this demo.

The action is furious and the stages are beautiful. Levels have multiple paths to take by doing simple things like taking out objects to reveal a new path. The weapons are varied both in asthetics and application. For instance, using the nunchaku will give you a rapid rate of attack as well as guarding you during your melee...however it slows down your physical attack speed as you don't move foward as quickly as if you were using Ryu's katana for instance.

My only complaint is that the action to the game is not as awe inspiring to me as it is for other players. I am one of the few who bought the terribly under rated Prince of Persia:Sands of Time. That game featured literally the same (but more enhanced) action tactics found in Ninja Gaiden. Wall running...hack n slash combat...all present in Prince of Persia. The only major difference is that Ryu wields more weapons and doesn't get to run off of his opponents backs like the Prince can. That said, this is still a great buy even though it offers nothing new to the action genre. It still features furious fighting, gorgeous graphics and a myriad of weapons. It is not a game to be missed.

you know sage, this game is really allot like devil may cry.
dante can do acrobtic jumps, RYU can, dante and jump and run on walls, RYU can, dante hash and slash, RYU can, not to mention everytime you pick up somehting, it even feel exactly like devil may cry. everytime you pick up something, teh screen blur out and then the iten pop up in a really fast spiral direction (hard to explain, but they are very mucht eh same in both game) and that is also seen in devil may cry, not to mention teh most important aspect, the camera, it too is allot like devil may cry.

the graphics I'll admit is the best seen on the xbox, but I can only say that on behalf of the envirment of the game (especially the out door levels), but what's with the character models? they look plain and like plastic, yes, some monster are like WOW, but what about thos ninja, they are liek made up of one or two colors. and not to mention taht grey hair nunchucks guy, he look plain.

Yea i heard about the DMC comparisons. I didnt like POP much, but then, that was based off the demo.

I didnt say the game was truly original... this game is ALOT like DMC... even down to the menu system... but that doesnt stop it from being a great game. It expands the gameplay features and brings something new. If you think this game is repetitive then all you've been doing is running around mashing the X button.

Im not easily amused by games... if it don't grasp me within the first 5 minutes of the game i push it aside and play something esle. This game is a really incredible title and passing it up is something i don't recommend.

also... if ISO's were on the internet before it's completition date i doubt they were real. Same thing happened wih King of Fighters 2003... everybody claimed they were real but they REAL rom didnt come out until months later. Plus temco is known for last minute tweaking... if somehow you played it (which i do doubt) it was probably incomplete.

I played the Ninja Gaiden demo and this game in my opinion is a hundred times better than Shinobi. Too bad I don't have an xbox. I'll be playing it at my friends house this Tuesday when it comes out. I fell in love with it the minute I started playing it.

yeah I picked up the xbox mag with the Ninja Gaden demo and I was instantly impressed. It had some sweet, fast paced ninja action and had a fairyly decent fighting system with what appears to be a good number of moves but most importantly, the ability to string together some sick combos.

Graphics were good, all the wall scaling and wall jumping moves are something to behold because its quite incredible. I am anxious to give the full game a go. The online component should give it some good replay value as well and make the game more competitive.

i have that demo disc too. Personally i don't find the demo that outstanding. But thats just me.

My friend got it yesterday. The demo is a little different from the real game. I don't want to spoil the game for anyone so I won't be specific on the changes made to the final version of the game.
