Has anyone in here played unlimited saga? what did you think it it?

people bad mouth the game cuz its unlike any rpg out there, its hard as heck but i loved it the only thing i didnt like about it was that they hired a different guy to do the soundtrack of this one

no, after saga frontier came saga frontier 2 and then came unlimited saga
kenji ito did the sountrack for romancing saga 1-3 on snes and saga frontier and they got some new guy for the last 2 games in the series

I was going to buy that, not Unlimited, but Saga Frontier 2. It looked kinda hard so I decided not to.

i never played saga frontier 2 so i dont know how hard it was if it was anything like any of the other games in the series then it probably was

I liked Unlimited Saga, Most people didnt give it a chance because of the bad reviews it was getting from everywhere. But it was fun because it was different, SquareEnix tried something new and for me it worked out.

It's square lamest attempt to put in cool graphics & cute characters with BAD storyline & controls. If you are SquareEnix Zealot who loves to collect every SquareEnix games, get it. If I were you, I would avoid this game.

ok this weekend first thing im gonna start working on Kurt Armic and Mythe

Kurt i cant beat that crocodile thing

Armic i cant get past the begining

Mythe i got all the way to the end but because the only people that join him are these ladies with really low lifepoints chaos wipes me out every time! i can get to his last form and take away almost all of his lifepoints it seems but by the time i get there everybody is eather out of lifepoints or barely hanging in there and with his multihit combos i never get to finish him off so i erased the file and im gonna start over

god damn it im gonna beat that game with each and every character.....

ok i started on kurt and ive done almost half his quest
you didnt have to beat agares to advance but i didnt know that
anyway i beat him AND the next 3 bosses
the last one was so tough but hes ded :twisted:
i finaly learned how to make obsidioan whcih really helps
now i have to do each and every side quest or wont see the good final boss
because aparently he has two and you have to do each and every side quest to see the good one
thats what they meant by for experienced people only because you must have previous experience with each side quest ill have him done by monday :D

ok i finished kurt for sure
chaos was even tougher than usual because he has this attack that hits everyone and paralizes which can make the fight a pain
plasma rain i think its called
but my characters were really well developed this time so it wasnt that hard
what i love about this game is that you learn more and more everytime you play it so its different every time
its like no other RPG

okay im halfway through armic's story
its just boring at the begining when you dont know what the hell you're supposed to be doing
ill have him done by tomorrow probably

anyway DAMN armic's last boss is tough!!!
i thought they would make him easy since armics quaest is all about collecting material and you dont get to buff up you people much but DAMN!!!
he's got the toughest boss in the game!!!!
its yun right and he's got like 4 shields around him with like 10000 hp each or something and you have to destroy each and every one before you get to him while being pounded by the strongest magic in the game
he has all the spells!!
even the last ones that you have to play for like 30+ hours to be able to unlock

i started on mythe and i'm halfway into his quest

okay guys i finaly beat the game with mythe
i did so good i was surprised
since i had such a hard time with him last time
all my girls had all their life points by the time i got to chaos's last form
i spent like 23 hours on his quest i could have probably been done at 16
when you beat the game with all the characters you just get the credits and thats it lol
wow this was one unique game
it was a great experience i hope more people got this game and played it from begining to the end
i have to say unlimied saga has to be the absolute hardest game for the PS2
not because it's a challenging game (it is) but because it takes so long to learn the growth/wepaon/ability systems
i was a little bit turned off by the soundtrack since i enjoyed kenji ito's work so much with previous saga games and saga frontier which is like one of my top 10 games ever
but the soundtrack grew on me it was sorta odd but charming at the same time
here's my final rating for the game :D

Unlimited Saga = A+
