What do YOU think about the ADVANCE series!?

personally, i like the "Advance" series very much and think that SAdv3 will be a smash hit like the others! If you don't believe that the other 2 were a hit, just read one of the interviews and/or comments about the "Advance" series by people who interviewed SEGA officials and announcements stated by SEGA!! SEGA has repeatedly said (like a thousand times!!!) that the "Advance" series is a MAJOR success! That's the one of the MAIN reasons why their making a part "3"!!!...

...for those of you who DON'T like the "Advance" series, that's you're opinion!:P The FACT of the matter is that the "Advance" series is doin' great!!! :D

Sonic Advance was a little bit dissapointing, but Sonic Advance 2 was just brilliant, easily one of the best sonic games :)

Sonic Advance was very well done. Reminded me of the old genesis games. Sonic Advance 2 was horribly crappy... in a word it sucked, easily one of the worst sonic games.

They are mere shells of what the genisis games were...
The first game was so boring....

Sonic Advance 2 was a lot better, but it was still....bad....

Advance games are sort of between genisis games and game gear games....

They look and play better then the gamegear games, but there still no were as cool as the genisis games....

I liked sonic advance 2 because of 2 things...

1- it was actually challanging unlike sonic advance 1...
2- They got rid of amy and added cream...
Granted, now cream's game still sucked, but...it's better then a slow running hedgehog with a pico hamer...

Stilll, just about everything else about the game sucks...

Sadvance 2 was very repetive. All the character played basically the same. The level designs sucked... too many places you could just fall off the screen and die if you weren't going fast enough.


In Sadvance 1 it was a little to slow but better acceleration and speed the the second still. All the characters had there advantages and disadvantages. I really enjoyed playing as Amy. The level designs were good, and enemies could hurt you without the suprise factor of going to fast. The bosses were far better in savance 1 then 2. In the end I think I could play this game way more then sadvnace 2. Because after I beat sadvance 2 I never wanted to play it again. I still will play sadvance 1 every once in awhile though.

Besides, it's all about prefrences...and to me, the advance series just doesn't cut it.

i liked both. in fact, i like Advance 1 since it came out nearly the same time SA2:B did. 2002 were good times with those 2 games. AS for Advance 2, it also is perfect. This is one of the fastest 2D games i've ever seen! It also was mighty hard. last summer was about to get all the Chaos Emeralds, for Sonic, but someone stole Advance 2. so i had to get a new one.
