I was never a fan till CC. I've played the games (a couple of them), it was at my friends house and we switched off. But I like the concept of CC. so now I am. hopefully there will be more comin to us GC owners now that Square and Nintendo have kissed and made up. Also isn't XII like a hack n slash FF game.

I don't think so. Very little about the combat system of FFXII has been revealed, but the FF series will likely not be action-rpg oriented.

I think you may mean FFXI Online, which is a little different than turn based.

Even though I never beat it, I thought FFVIII was great. I never played any other FF games other than VI, VII, and VIII, so I can't say it's the best or anything.

Did XI ever come out yet? I'm wondering how long it will be before it becomes another PSO. (Dreamcast Version)

CC is far more better than FF XI...

its different genre, but still, CC is better than XI or X-2 in many ways.

FF was on nintendo platform before sony's

I think FFX1 ruins the point by making it online

Ohhhhh.... Well that was confusing you could of put FF I then I would of got it. Doing roman numerals by themselves with nothing to support them makes thing confusing.

I think FF VII was one of the best. Great gameplay, storyline and graphics were weird, but in battle they were fine.

In my opinion, FFIX and FFX own. But anyway, I am a....newer gen FF fan. I started the series at FFX and worked my way down.

(I have played X, X-2, IX, VIII, VII, and Crystal Cronicles.)

That really can't be right working your way down would be x-2, then x, I suppose it is when you buy them though.

Yeah, you're right. I did change the order a little, but for the most part, I went from top to bottom (3d games only) here's how it worked.

I played FFX first, then played FFIX. I then wanted to try FFVIII. I was really upset, because I couldn't beat it, (:):):):)ING JUNCTION SYSTEM) so I just stopped playing. However, I then decided to take a break from the older FF games, and play FFX-2. I beat that, then played FFVII. I was slightly dissappointed with FF7, but I will always remember the excellent plot.

Now, I am currently re-playing through FFVIII. I am determined to beat it, this time making full use of the junction system. I am at the final boss, and have discovered...I'm still drastically under-junctioned. :):):):) DAMNIT WHAT THE MOTHER:):):):)!?!?!?!?!?!?

But....there is a possibility that I can beat it, then I can say I beat all the main 3D FF games.

haha Yeah I had to replay through FFVIII to beat it also. The first time i played it my characters were like level 40 and I had no good weapons for them and worst of all they had no good gf's. The second time i played it through I got as much magick as i could and I used draw on about everything so i could get all the gf's and it helps because they can give some really good bonuses.

Thats the thing about FF if you go to far whoops.

Only FF8. FFIX and FFX and FFVII I had no problem with. And if you were underleveled at the final boss, then no problem. Just go through the final dungeon and level up. But in FFVIII, leveling up is virtually pointless, and at a certain point, you can't go back and get better magic for junctions, etc. It's really a stupid idea. The sad thing is that the game itself is actually a good FF game. The Junction System ruins it.

I actually liked the ending. I liked how everything was explained well, and I liked the scene with Laguna and the grave. I liked it. All I didn't like was all that time compression :):):):). But otherwise, a great ending. (although FFX still has the best ending)

I think ff7's ending was tight...
Espesially with cloud using omnislash on sieperoth, and the whole metor thing being stoped...

Then seeing midgear 500 years into the future...was tight...

I liked the ending to 7 also but i didnt think the actual game was that great. Everyone raved about it but i thought it was the worst on the PSX

Yeah, same here. I wasn't truely satisfied with FF7. But then again, I only played and beat it recently, so the game didn't have the 'impress' factor on it's side when I played it. I liked the game, but I found it kind of boring, and I found the cities and towns even less interesting than in FF8. I also thought the plot was way too serious and depressing. I know it was required for this type of game, but seriously, I don't play video games to feel bad. I play them to feel good.

Anyway, I thought seeing Midgar in the future was way cool, but I think purposely leaving things open so people would not know how the game ended was kind of stupid. I like when endings are wrapped up, not left open for "fan prediction."
