Crystal Xbox to launch on March 19th.

Microsoft has announced a firm release date for the Limited Edition Crystal Xbox, which was announced earlier this year. As predicted, the console will launch next Friday on March 19th - a few days after the second anniversary of its European launch on March 14th, which rather unhelpfully falls on a Sunday this year.

The "crystal clear" Xbox package will feature the console you see just to the left and two crystal controllers, and should retail for £139 or €199 outside the UK. It certainly looks bloody lovely [if you say so -Ed], but you may have to rely on other outlets if you want to read first-hand opinions, as we somehow doubt Microsoft UK is in a position to give us one for free. Guys?

Hes trying to mimic xteboy. The only problem is hes trying to hard hes not even being factual. I dont see what kind of show they are stealing from Nintendo. Nintendo is in a comfortable 3rd in europe...

That Xbox looks as hi-tech as the new Mac computers. I like the look of it.

Hopefully it comes out in the states.

Yeah I've calmed down from trying to be like...him??... from yesterday. But it is the truth. Odd how Microsoft is putting a limited edition Xbox in Europe AFTER Nintendo sees a large increase in sales compared to last year. I beleive I read in another post that nintendo has a 12% increase while Microsoft only received a 2% increase. Microsoft is just trying to put faith in the regions that they are strong in becuase there is really no hope for the Asian Market.

Actually it's not odd at all, Microsoft had already released a special edition green xbox last year.
