Here is something to think about... Shadow's character design was made to be Dark Sonic, when Sonic used the negitive power of the emeralds. But the idea was turned down.

shadow sucks...he had a lame story...way too brief...i think the sonic characters should convert 2 humans...as animals things r odd,but if they make sonic a person they may lose fans...i dont care if sonic and shadow r the same cuz they both suck now...the old sonic was better!after sa1 the games got lame,though sonic battle is fun...shuffle was cool 4 a while though...

Just what we need; another one of these "not-as-good-as-it-use-to-be" cry babies.

I love Sonic, old and new; even games after "sa1". Instead of saying "the old sonic was better" why not stop complaining and point out how Sonic can be better, whether he "sucks" now or not. That's what fans are for, get it right.

Yeah Sonic Adventure 1 and 2 had NO discovery -_-;. That's all Knuckles/Rouge's Missions WERE! >___>;.

And I don't remember Sonic 1, or Sonic 2 having any DIscovery to it.

Shadow and Sonic have different personallities. Game-play wise, they're the same, but so were Metal Sonic and Amy in Sonic Adventure 2. (DC version)

naw, the Knuckles and Rouge missions in satwo had no discovery. in saone they kinda did but not really, saone had some discovery value in some of the levels. emerald coast and final egg highlights.
