well over 2 years ago i paid $1700 for my comp...

since then i've added a 60gb hard drive, an 80gb hard drive, a 250gb hard drive

sold the 60gb hard drive

added 256mb rdram (384 total)

replaced the broken 17" crt with a 17" flat panel

external firewire enclosure for one of the hard drives.

replaced the cd-rw drive that came with it for a dvd+-rw drive.

replaced crappy mouse with an intellimouse.

winME (yuck) to winXPpro

i dunno how much i've spent...

i care about hard drive space.... if i was rich i'd buy 10 of the new 400gb hard drives and daisy chain them in firewire enclosures...

*drool*

my next purchase for my PC will probably be a soundblaster audigy 2 platinum pro (phew) sound card. then i'm not sure if it counts as an addition to a PC rig, but i'd probably get a little synth/sampler/something with midi output to make some tunes

All I know is that my laptop is running a Pentium 4 2.8 Ghz, and some type of ATI Radeon Graphics, oh and like 60GB HD. I bought this model because I travel a lot, and I needed a DVD burner.
