HEADHUNTER REDEMPTION: XBOX SHOTS ROCK!
Jack Wade is joined by the lissom Leeza X for this neo-noir sequel
12:22 If you didn't play the original, Headhunter was a decent quality third-person arcade-adventure where you fought despicable criminal types, attempted to solve quirky puzzles, indulged in the odd spot of stealth and attempted to master a peculiarly over-responsive motorbike. All this while sporting the kind of moustache not seen since the glory days of Burt Reynolds.
Headhunter Redemption would appear to offer much the same kind of experience, though with a couple of bonuses. While the gameplay remains seemingly quite similar to the original, a new character has arrived to join in the hi-jinks, a sassy lookin' street chick named, futurama-tastically, Leeza X.
We're also promised an "epic" storyline encompassing above and below, those twin chestnuts of dystopian near future sci-fi what-have-yous.
Above being a ridiculous haven for rich scumbags, Below being a noxiously poverty stricken hellslum with mewling, limbless proles on every street corner. We imagine. Oh, and there's more motorbiking too this time. Good-o.
Headhunter Redemption is pencilled in for a Summer release on PS2 and Xbox; these shots come from the 'box version.
