also...i bought that stupid hiragi board because psoworld said it called for ortasilica, but it actually calls for ortaresin...

anybody know where that drops?

Yes, IIRC, Mega / Rainbow with Sori will increase your weakness to fire.

I thought the Rainbow added +8 to your current armour, so I assume yours is a 11% Ice, it would mean 19% ice. Of course, this would mean you take more damage from fire.

i guess, then, what i'm asking is if the 8% of fire resistance from the rainbow will counter the 11% weakness of fire from the armor.

which makes me 3% weaker against fire. am i asking this right?

You're asking it just fine, but your conclusion is wrong. Rainbow enhances your armors element, so you'll be weaker to fire.
