That's not the reason it's getting overlooked? that's just a way of saying what kind of fanboys people are. Really there hasn't been much hype made especially by Sega who seems more interested in PSO or Sonic. Who knows maybe it'll win the hearts of millions. I really do think it should've been a GC game though. And I'm not trying to sound like a Fanboy but I just think that it would be more to the audiance of the GC rather than the PS2. Sega already sells well on the GC with these types of games. Or maybe it'll be ported later but I highly doubt it.

That still has nothing to do with a game being overlooked and I rarely if ever see someone saying that a game sux because it's on Xbox or PS2. In fact I see more posts from Xteboy talking about GC games sucking.

Sure these boards are GC and DC biased but it's not even as close to as bad as you say it is.

All I said was that Sega hasn't created much hype. Instead they have focused on Sonic and PSO which has taken the spotlight from Astroboy.

And if by sales you were refering to when I said I think the game would be more fitting on the GC all I meant was that Sega has had success in that area on the GC. That doesn't mean I'm saying the PS2 version will do bad at all or that it will suck, I just think that it would have been a better business decision so sue me.

Astro Boy doesn't look like anything special. Its made by Sonic Team who hate the ps2, so expect some technical issues. I think that if they can get rid of their stupid camera and keep the gameplay up to scratch then Astro Boy might be something special

Astro Boy is gonna stay ps2 exclusive I think. If pso3 comes out on another console I think it would be X-Box. Plus, I dont think it'll sell well on ps2

Ps2 owners out number gamecube and x-box owners by a broad margin.
Besides, It has a great base to work under, ps2 is known for some(if not all) the best platforms out to date.

Don't let Sonic heroes for ps2 deter you from sonic team games on the ps2.

Sonic heroes for the Gamecube, was a glitchy game on it's own right, then to port it over to a system in a rush job didn't help anything eighter.

Besides, Sonic Team Made a lot of Cool games for ps2.

Hey buddy I didn't come here to bash the PS2 lets just get that straight. Look back into the topic, my next post said I was kidding and I gave him games that I thought were good. And look whos talking you talk about everything like your sooooo big, look in the FF topic that sage posted in completely "owning you". And why wouldn't I defend one, there's no topic that I have seen in 2 years of being on Sega.com (yeah two years) that have said this game will suck because it's on Xbox. Actually I saw one about sonic heroes for PS2 but that was obvious that the game was gonna have slowdown.

Now about that one topic with the Kid and his PS2. True I did say to give it back and it smelled like a chalupa???(one time my friends did alright I don't know what was going on), but I did say I was just kidding and if you read what I said clearly, I said that I just wanted to get you mad, not :):):):) off those cute little PS owners.

I don't own a PS or PS2 but does that mean it's wrong for me to give ideas on games? just cause I only own a GC doesn't mean I don't play PS2 or that I hate it. Actually today I just played Baulder's Gate (even though I hate that game) at my friends house so I do know some stuff about the PS2. Not to mention when I read magazines...go to websites, I don't only look at the Gamecube section so I know some good PS2 games alright.

Well I beleive in a topic in the GC forum, Sage was complaining about xteboy (I think it was sage, there was like 10 topics about this) and xteboy said that he only goes to the GC forums to make fanboys mad and watch them defend their system. Apparently from the way you posted, you didn't care about him posting like that or for that reason? yet when I said that a long time ago (and I havent come up with posts to purposely try and make people mad since then) you go off about it? Just wondering what is so special about me :wink: to make you use that against me when it was a reason to ignore xteboy???

And lastly I started the debate without saying that you were owned or calling you an idiot. I said ( and it's true) that fanboys are no reason for a game to be over looked. Now according do webster.com (yes I have a source) to overlook has 4 defionitions. The one referring to this topic is to look past. In other words it has nothing to do with fanboys saying that something will suck.

And maybe I don't need a console to come in here. I'm not gonna admit I was wrong because I don't beleive I was wrong, not a crime. I'm not gonna say I was right about everything I said, but my fanboy statement still stands. And big deal I defended fanboys, who cares You want to think I am one, who cares what does that mean, at least I'm not a raging fanboy posting hate messages on all of the forums, and at least I use some sense in my arguments, cant say that about most other "fanboys" around here. To be a fanboy is not a bad thing really it's just someone sticking up for something they love. No matter what they have to say, but I guess that only owning one system and being fair with my statements about each system is now considered to be fanboy material.

two words MY BAD. I really didn't want to enter another battle with you, (and I'm continuing) but after what I said you say, no class to admit you were wrong? I don't think You have proved yourself right in my eyes just as I haven't in yours. You just think what you want and I'll stick to my own business. All I've learned from this thread is that it's useless trying to have a discussion with someone who isn't willing to realize mistakes.
