View Full Version : We should stop...

We should stop making these "let-down" posts, seriously. It ruins the community for everyone. I've been seeing posts like "I lost all hope in Sega", and it's only bringing this board down. I personally enjoy all games, not just Sega's, but we need to see everyone's smiles, not everyone's tears. We need support, not more weight.
Now, even if you don't agree, you still should keep your opinion to your own self. Nobody wants to hear you complain. That also ruins it for everyone, and for those who enjoy what they wish.
Perhaps the mod should erase all posts that only display sheer and useless pestimism, and don't contribute to anything whatsoever. It's okay to have your own opinion, but not when it's harsh and you decide to blabber it all out until you completely annoy everyone. Seriously.
What do you think about this? Should we stopping putting everyone down, and instead, put down our critical ways?

I dont think most people take them seriously anyway. I dont really agree you should DEL anything negative. Unless its attacks on members. Some of those posts inspire great debates and I like people having varying opinions as opposed to the lemming attitude. To be honest back here in 2000/2001/2002 those Sega is in really no financial trouble posts were ALMOST worse than negative threads....
Maybe i m a pessimist

you said "we". i dont post let down posts so dont say we!! lol im just kidding with ya
You have to remember that the japanese world is different from ours. its like the difference between a western guy eating food and an asian guy.
well. . . bad example. but they still do a good job but our expectations are higher then what they want to do. i'm sure they are trying their best on making people happy.
but we dont want a game to be as addicting as everquest. people die over that game because its that addictive (yes people die from obsession, and other cause) and i dont think you want to die because you love to play sega games. but you also dont want to be bored of playing sega games.
but mainly if you have notice, sega is trying different things, unlike sony (sorry), but sony doesnt try new things. its good that sega does, but right now we are forced to be "test subjects" on trying out their different things. then again im mumbling cuz im extremely tireed............................................ ...................... *goes to bed* well i tried to make sense but if i did, yeah.. umm.... i cant think anymore... blast! im going to bed see you all later!

Nope, I don't feel that way. People should be allowed to express their disappointment in Sega. If the feel like they've been let down, they deserve a forum to speak their views, too. I'm not going to delete such posts, it takes all kinds of people to make a community. The only posts I'll delete or change are unwarranted attacks on individual members.

People forget, Sega's staff are probally still hurting after the DC's demise.
They havent been developing for the PS2, 'Cube and XBOX as long as most other companys. And after a huge re-shuffle, things need time to settle. They're releasing as much as possible, such as the ports as a quick income to ease the debts. Well, now even turn profits!
You will see, when the next generation of consoles come, Sega will really shine. When they are settled down, and playing with dev kits from day one. Sega will be great once more!

sega games are still good you mindless drones. you see a mediocre review in a magazine and its game over for anything that isnt above a 9. im sick of gamers thinking theyre the "hardcore" type and only buying the :):):):)ing metal gears and gta's and ninja gaiden. talk about your mainstream crap. how bout importing some gems that are japan only? frame gride maybe? or how about the new psyvariar 2? nah they werent reviewed in game informer so ill pass. yeah and nightshade sucks because it doesnt have the best graphics to ever grace the planet. how bout some gameplay elements? oh you forgot about those? who cares if its the best ninja game on PS2? it dont look as good as ninja gaiden! and dont forget, if you bash something a big company puts out then youre automatically "cool" and "unique" right? haha look how funny these guys are bashing sega on a sega message board!! thems got some big balls eh? talk about being too image conscious. too bad. i guess youre all right though, sega sucks hard.

We should choose to like our own things instead of bashing others is what I'm saying.
