No she wasn't. All she did was follow Sonic for three seconds before she was captured by Metal Sonic. She was just your typical "damsel in distress" Princess Peach replacement. She is a lot better now.

Knuckles or Sonic. Tails was annoying, so he's gotten better. Tails or Shadow for new school.They can't seem to get a good voice actor for Knuckles.
