View Full Version : SEGA and Konami should get together...

I played Dance Dance Revolution Extreme, and man, I am uber-liciously addicted! As much as I love Konami, SEGA should get together with them and make their own SEGA/Sonic themed Dance Dance Revolution. I'm sure they'd makes heaps of cash for the both of them. This should teach Sammy a few things about arcade gaming too. What do you think, and what tracks should be on it?

It'd be interesting to walk into a Japanese arcade and watch five sei:):):)u-clad girls dance and sing a karaoke version (in English) of "We Got The Beat" by the Go-Gos, or "Cool Places" by Sparks & Jane Wiedlin, or "I Heard A Rumour" by Bananarama, etc. at one of those hybrid Dance Dance Revolution machines/karaoke players. Just one man's Japanese schoolgirl fantasy.

Personally, I suck at these arcade dance machines.

No funny would be watching hordes of school girls FLIPPING to the vocals "Sonic boom! Sonic Boom!" then the master steps on and gets down to the lyrics of Sonic Heroes.

Although DDR series is good, don't forget the other classic Konami games that would become even greater through Sega's help! Although what I'm thinking of (Castlevania, Goemon, Twinbee, Gradius...) is more on a console level than arcade...

Namco proposed a merger and are a much better to have company. I love Konami games but as a Sega fan if I had to choose between both... it's Namco.

I like some of the Konami games but what I don't like their general attitude. They really made NO work of some DC titles. And didn't even port ISS to it when everybody was crying out for it. Konami can **** ***
as far as Im concerned. I'd rather see a merger with companies like Namco or SNK.
