Look out, Red Sox fans! The Yankees are interested in Randy Johnson. George Steinbrenner in an interview on Sporting News Radio, said, "Who wouldn't want Johnson? Let's see what happens as the deadline gets closer." Jerry Colangelo said, "I wouldn't consider trading Randy unless he came to me and asked for a trade." However, Johnson has to be frustrated with the D-Backs' performance, they've just come off an 11 game losing streak. Johnson, who threw his 4000th strikeout on Tuesday, said "things like this aren't that much fun if you're not winning." I'm betting if Steinbrenner wants Johnson, he'll have him before July 31, and I'll bet Johnson will be willing to go. He's tired of being on a loser, and probably will jump at the chance for another World Series ring.
