Sirens Blazing, the night air is filled with panic. “Father!!! Answer me Father!!!” I could here my friend shouting through blast doors. As she screamed and slammed her fists into the door I could hear the station detaching itself. The crackling and groaning of the steel as it separates. My friend Laura turned to me and as I stared into her blue eyes I knew we where in trouble. “J-J---John, I’m So Sorry. We’re going to die in here” she said quivering with fear. The Guardians Colony was under attack from the Illuminus and Seed. There was not much we could do. The Space Colony has two sections, The Residential Blocks and Guardian Blocks. Since the attack the Space Colony was thrown into a gravitational pull of one the planets in the Gurhal System. The Planet Parum. The Space Colony was separating to Save the Residential Block from destruction. We How ever where stuck in the Guardian Section.
“Pull it together Laura, we will need to head to the loading dock and see if there is a Flyer we can rig and escape on. We have to try! I’m not about to just fall to my death in here.” I screamed. I helped Laura up and we took off down the corridor heading to the underground passages that linked to the residential blocks. As we approached the access maintenance hatch, something slid past on the opposite side of the room. I stopped running and instantly stood still. Laura was still running across the room and she turned around to face me and froze in place. With a horrified look she whispered to me “W-w-what is it?” “I don’t know but there is something in the room with us”. My eyes darted around the room, the Emergency lights where flashing a red evil glow. I could hear the growl of something, was is it the Seed? “hmmhmmm Do you really think you will be able to escape from here?” as voice echoed around the room. “You will die here along with every other guardian trapped here”. From the corner of the room a figure slowly emerged out from the shadow. As it crept into the light I started to see who it really was, the clicking noise of cast parts rubbing on the floor. It was Magashi, the leader of the former Endrum Collective that was caught being in control by the human fundamentalist group called The Illuminus. As he stepped out of the shadow I could see that Magashi was mutating into something. I grabbed Laura’s hand and took off running across the room. “Laura get the maintenance Door I will hold him off” I yelled. I let go of Laura’s hand and she continued to run across the room to the control panel. I turned around to see Magashi charging after us. I reach into my nano transformer and pulled out my sword. The green glow of the photons making my sword light up the room a little better. As he charged closer and closer and I swung my sword behind and charged toward him. I swung my sword and around to swipe him and grabbed it and with a loud clunk of metal hitting metal he held the edge of my sword in his hand. I could see the photons burning his hand, he looks me in the eye and with a grin, and “do you think you can stop me? You are foolish Guardian” and with that he flung my sword the opposite direction taking me with it. As I slammed into the ground I pulled out my Handgun and opened fire at Magashi.
Laura reached the control panel, as she opened the lid to the panel she immediately started entering the access code to get the door open. “Dammit!” she screamed. As she turned around and look she saw John fly across the room and his sword sliding on the floor. She started hearing gunshots and knew she needs to work faster. Fumbling with the keypad she started entering more of the sequences. She was getting close. She turned and looked for john and he was now swinging his daggers around and shooting at Magashi, She has never seen a cast with such resistance to attack, but Magashi was no ordinary Cast; This Magashi had some features from the Seed. Could it possibly be? A Cast fused with the Seed Virus? No it couldn’t be. She turned around and continued entering in the sequences. Hearing the fight continue behind her. “Yes!!!!! John hurry we need to shut this door”. The Maintenance door slid open and she ran inside into the tunnel her hand on the lever to close the door she yelled once more at John to start running.
I took one more shot and Magashi so I could get a chance to start running. As I was running across the room I could hear the footsteps on Magashi behind me getting close. I tried to boost myself but the fight has worn me out badly. I could see Laura in the tunnel waiting for me, as I got closer to the door I felt something jabbing me. I looked down to see a blade sticking out of my shoulder. Suddenly I was launched forward, my feet just gave way and I went gliding toward Laura.
As John body went flying Laura saw the Magashi has gotten a shot in. This was not good as john’s body laid helplessly on the floor. Laura grabbed her Gun and aimed at Magashi and let some short burst of round at him. Magashi withdrew back to cover himself from the bullets. Laura Grabbed John by the shirt and pulled him into the tunnel and pulled the level. The door Slid shut. It was dark, Laura Looked down at John he was still alive, just in shock. She grabbed a Medical Pack and started addressing his wounds. She peered down the Tunnel. “What are we going to do?” she cried.
Sounds of pounding on the door filled John’s head, as he sat himself up, he look at the shoulder. It was wrapped in bandages, neatly put together with a blood stain coming through the fabric. He looked around for Laura and couldn’t find her. He knelt on the floor and proceeded to prop himself up. He walked down the tunnel slowly. Looking around making sure the seed will not appear out of nowhere. “John! Quickly” Laura shouted. John looked up further ahead and saw Laura waiting for him. It took a while; But John limped up to Laura. “I’m sorry I had to check out ahead to make sure it was clear if I had to carry you” Laura said smiling. “Glad to see you are awake. Let’s go going it is just a bit further to the loading dock. There are a couple of Flyers”. There came a huge rumbling and the intercom announced that the Space Colony was hitting Parum’s Orbit.
“We gotta hurry” I muttered. Laura grabbed my side and helped move me forward so we could get there faster. As we are traveling down the tunnel we could hear the groaning of the Space Colony coming apart in the atmosphere. When we reached the door leading to the loading dock, Laura Grabbed her gun “you open the door I’ll check it out.” I pulled the lever and the door swung open. She immediately walked into the loading dock. Outside the force field we could see Parum and it was getting bigger by the moment. We spotted a Flyer across the bay and proceeded to it. I was scoping out for the Seed. Seed are creatures either from Seed spore or creature infected by the Seed Virus, and they like to appear out of nowhere. As I walked across the bay I was looking at some cargo boxes. A lot of them had Flame designs on them. Across the bay out of the corner of my eye I saw flashes of smoke and out of the smoke came the Seed. “Oh :):):):), they are here!” I screamed. Laura Turned and immediately started shooting at the creatures. The Seed can cloak themselves to be invisible till they attack. I started running toward the G Flyer so I could get it started.
Laura raced off toward the shoot guns blazing trying to destroy the seed creatures. They were infected Koltovas, Modern Cows they ram or try to trample people and things. Seed makes any creature very violent and irritable. There is no going back once infected by the Seed. She continued to fire her rounds; she reached into her nano transformer and pulled out her saber. The Koltova started surrounding her and all charged. She flung herself in the air and as the Koltovas came charging by, while in mid air she was able to slice through the skin of the Koltova sending it to the ground. She landed on top the body and immediately flung on the air again as another Koltova charged toward her. As she was fighting off the Seed. John was busy getting Flyer up and running, he peered out the window of the Flyer looking at the Force Field started being engulfed in flames from the atmosphere. It was now or never, if they could not get off this Space Colony, they would perish in the collision. As Laura fought of the seed, someone entered the loading dock. He glances and sees Laura fighting the Seed. He pulls a sword out and charges toward her and the Seed. Laura turns around as she can see the figure charging at her. Her eyes focus out “oh my god” and the figure slashes some of the Koltovas sending them down to death. She realizes who it is. It was President Dallgun; He is the President of the Guardians. As the final Koltovas are slayed, President Dallgun turn to Laura “well nice to see a guardian for once and not the Seed” he says smirking. Laura Breathing heavily from the battle smiles. John managed to get the Flyer on and started warming up the engines. As Laura and Dallgun walk toward the Flyer a shockwave filled the Space Colony. Laura and Dallgun fell to the floor as the Flyer skidded across the bay. Some boxes slid toward the maintenance door and crashed and started leaking fuel on the bay. Laura and Dallgun got themselves back up and headed toward the Flyer.
An explosion shook the bay. Flames engulfed the cargo. As the flames died down Dallgun turned to view the source of the explosion. From the flames emerged Magashi. “mhmmm thought you could lose me easily?” has he emerged from the flames another figured emerged with him. “oh my god” Dallgun exclaimed. The second figure from the flames was Magashi again, a third figure again emerged from the flames, and it was Magashi again. “Mhmmm hmh hmh you see the best come in threes” he laughed. Dallgun shoved Laura up the stairs of the Flyer. “Get out of here and save yourselves” he told her. Dallgun reached into his nano transformer and pulled out two sabers, and walked toward the three Magashis. John flips the switch to bring up the stairwell. Laura came into the cockpit and sat in seat next to John. John fiddles with the control and started up controls to move the ship the Space Colony started to rock and tremble. He peered out of the cockpit window and saw President Dallgun running toward the three Magashis. Inside the Flyer you could the explosion from the Colony hitting the planet. John pulled on the control to lift the Flyer off the bay floor. “We have to help him John, those ttthings are going to kill him” Laura stammered. Dallgun was now fighting the three Magashis, flinging himself in the air and performing moves like acrobat, striking his sabers against the Magashis as he floats down. John grabbed the controls and loaded up the lasers. He aimed and one of the Magashis and opened fire. A Sudden beam of light escaped the Flyer hitting the Magashi causing him to fly back into the bay walls. Dallgun turned to the flyer “Get out of here you fools!” You could hear the buckling of steel getting closer as the Space Colony is grinding into planet’s surface. John took the control and turned the ship around leaving his view of Dallgun. Dallgun continued to fight off the two Magashis.
The Flyer glided toward the Dock releasing the force field, as the Flyer drifted on out of the Space Colony into the Parum environment. Suddenly a huge explosion filled the loading dock and engulfed the entire area, the initial force caused the Flyer to lose its engine power and to free fall toward the planet surface. The cockpit was exploded with warning sounds and engine failure noises, John panicky started flipping the thrusters and trying to start the engines. Laura was fidgeting with the Flyer’s shield system. Laura glances out the cockpit window.
