View Full Version : Just got a Game gear!

I got a Game Gear at a local flea market, It works perfectly! It was only 15 bucks and it came with Sonic 2 and the ac adaptor! I just have one question, Is the backlit screen allways on? Or is there a way toturn of the backlight

I believe it is always on, but I'm not sure.

Darn, The backlit feature washes out the screen half the time.. :evil:

Meh, any ways, its cool! AND HARD! GOD I HATE EGGMAN :evil:

wtf? He saves Sonics life in Sonic 2 Game Gear just so he can throw those annoying rocks down a hill at Sonic... WTF :shock:

Never had a game gear, but maybe he did it just so he could (attempt to) kill sonic?

There is a contrast control on the right side of the game gear.

The GameGear is cool, huh? It is almost like a portable Sega Master System!

I am not able to buy any more games for it, but I have a bunch of really fun ones.

Eh, not quite. Color differances. I hear that there is a converter to play SMS games on the Game Gear though.

I like GameGear better then GameBoy! Game Gear has awesome graphics for the time! Oh, oh, the screen is now perfect :D :lol:

So? It's a Master System with a slightly better color pallette.

And screen resolution is different too... Whatever.
Unfortunately, some really special SMS games were never released on the Game Gear, like the first Phantasy Star, Quartet, and those Alex Kidd games.

Do you still want the Game Gear Master System adapter with Phantasy Star?
I have them both sort of they belong to my brother.
