I wasn't sure where to put this so I'll stick it here. Kind of a little rant but not really.
Using current shop prices can be helpful to get a rough idea of what something is worth. However, for most things, you should not assume the current price is what the thing is worth.
for example Nanopolymers
some one bought all of the lower priced ones and the ones left were all 500k/600k range (I'm on PC/PS2)
Are they worth 500/600k? hell no. but i have had people tell me that is what they are "going for" in shops and that is what they are worth. Same for many other materials.
Not to mention that I wouldn't buy them for 400k or 300k either because it is still way too much.
You should take an average of what they are priced at; what they are worth to you, what the other person says they are worth to him/her, and what you think the other person values them at. it will give you a much better idea of what something is "worth" than looking it up and going, "give me this much".
Otherwise you could end up missing decent deals, or insulting some one by trying to rip them off.
also this is more of a PC/PS2 thing and applies more to materials than it does to weapons.
