I was getting kicked off with a [interrupt error] then I would get kicked off of Live. Now I had a hunch that I was having a IP conflict - that is when you have two items [PC or consoles] online and the router has given both the same IP.
I recently got on PSU with my new 360 on my own GT. When my brother logged onto his 360 we both got kicked and had some issues but it worked it self out the first night. Today I started having those issues right when he turned on he system, I checked my Routers adim controls and there should have been three assigned IPs.. our two systems and my Laptop, and there was only two.
= IP conflict in which both systems were assigned the same IP address.
fix?
I went and manually assigned my system it's own IP (in line with the ones given out by my router but beyond that that would be used if all of our systems were online at the same tine) and so far, I have played with out being kicked off or any other issues.
Now tomorrow morning or maybe late tonight I might be able to get him to log on and we can double make sure. But this seems to have solved this issue of mine.
So if you have this issue.. like I did.. or just wondering why when you log on some times you get kicked, make sure that your system has not been assigned the same IP address that another PC or system has received.
EDIT: We were both just kicked off... at the same time with a Interrupt Error and then kicked from Live.
Logged back in.. /sigh.
