This sounds awesome. But I'm new here and only recently heard of Aliens: Colonial Marines, and just now an Aliens RPG. So let me get this straight: There are three games coming out sometime soon (possibly in 2010?) all involving Aliens....?

I just heard about AVP3 about a month ago, then a few days ago I read an article claiming the cancelation rumors of A:CM were false, which was the first time I heard of A:CM, and just here from this thread I heard of an Aliens RPG. I'M GETTING OVERWHELMED WITH ALL OF THESE ALIENS!!!! SOMEONE HELP ME!!!

Ok so there are 4 Aliens games in the works, all will come out in 2010 through out the year. Here they are in order!

Aliens vs Predator
This is a reboot to the AvP series, its nothing like those new movies though its set in space on far off planets, you can play 3 campaigns, one as Marine, one as Alien and one as Predator, you can also take it online and fight others.

Aliens: Colonial Marines
This game is based around the Colonial Marines, it is similar to Left 4 Dead, you can team up online and play though the campaign. Each person can have their own skills medics, gun turrets, door sealing... you have to survive. You can also play single player and Issue commands do AI controlled team mates.

Aliens: The Curcible
This is the RPG and is quite far off...not much is known about it other then it will be a Western style RPG and will probably explore the lore and universe of the Alien series.

Alien: Colonial Marines DS
I don't know when this comes out but this is not like the console and PC version of the game, Aliens: Colonial Marines DS is a side scrolling 2D shooter similar to Contra!

Sweet! Thanks dude. I played AvP2 years ago when it came out and loved it (I have some fun stories to go with it too). I'm really looking forward to both Avp3 and A:CM. Also, just curious, but why the sudden surge of Alien games? Have the AvP films been that popular? Personally I expected way more from those two films and was very disappointed.

The reason is that who ever had the rights to make Aliens games previously wasn't using it. Then Sega stepped in and baught the rights off of them. Sega is now in control of the Aliens video game series and there are a number of high ups in Sega that are Aliens fans, so as long as they have the rights you'll probably see quite a few Aliens games. (So long as they sell well enough to warrent more.)

I hope Sega get's it right on AvP, I haven't played the FPS version since Atari Jaguar lol. AvP Extinction the RTS that came out on the original Xbox was fun also. I hope Sega revives that game too.

Awesome! I can't wait! :D I love the Aliens series! :) I'm really looking forward to all these titles. Particularly the RPG.

Almost every Sci-fi game tried to be like Aliens... I don't think I can think of 1 sci-fi game that hasnt borrowed at least one thing from Aliens.
