I am curious to see where people stand and where they are more interested in spending there time pertaining to offline and online play.

I'm sure there are those who do not have acces to the online features. That being said, I could see why they are simply stoked about playing the offline content in what looks to be a great game in The Conduit. Others however, like myself, will have the choice of exploring the offline content as well as the online multiplayer action. This begs the question, what are you wanting to get into first?

Are you more psyched about online action or offline content? Or, are you going to try to give attention to both aspects of the game equally?

To answer my own question, I think back to my experiences with CoD:WaW. Where I found what I thought to be great offline content as well as incredible online action. I first started off in the campaign mode and worked my way through about half of the content while enjoying every minute of it. I then jumped online just to check out what was to be offered, since I had become comfortable with the controls, and was immediatley overwhelmed with the fast-paced and strategic gameplay that was presented as I soaked it all up while playing. I got so far into the online play, almost like it had the power of a black-hole sucking me in, that to this date I haven't finished the entire offline campaign due to the lure of competition and the revenge I am able to exact on my enemies. Whew.. man what an experience.

This is most likely going to be the case for some of us considering The Conduit. I absolutley know that the offline content is going to be awesome. On that note, I am even more hopeful about the online multiplayer action and am pretty sure it will be as addicting as ever.

Anyhow, back to the question at hand and the conclusion I have drawn about where I will be spending my time in The Conduit. I believe I will finally be able to put aside my addiction to clashing constantly with the competition online as I will dedicate myself to both aspects of the game and will focus on clearing the offline content over due time.

Edit: Woot! It's just around the corner now people. We'll be knee-deep in conspiracy tommorrow.

I did the SAME exact thing for waw... i started playin the campaign to get a feel for the game. then played online once, never even touched the campaign after that.

I'll mostly play online a lot more... since the campaign isnt all that long

Offline...thats what I am doing first. The storyline trailer really has me, and I need to get all of the details. I will probaly play offline first, get used to my controls, then challenge my foes online. I balance it out. In MOHH2 I did offline, than online for a great while, than finished offline and now currently play online even though I am getting bored due to no new faces or rivals. But, I must say an actual online fps for wii that doesnt have weapons from the past xD

sometimes i think games are better without a campaign becuase a lot of people just skip it.then they will complain that there wasnt a story to it blah blah blah

I'm jumping straight into the online, but this is the first FPS in a long time where I want to know the full story and play all the way through the campaign. Plus, SOMEONE's gotta review it on WiiCORE.

Yes I agree. I think I'll be dedicating most of my time to playing The Conduit offline to indulge myself and jump into the storyline I've been getting brief glimpses of and get acquainted with the control scheme. I am also curious to explore the quality of the Quantum-3 engine that High Voltage has used to produce this revolutionary game for the Wii.

I NEED to know what happens when he walks into the conduit. So, I will finish campaign while perfectly tweaking controls, and then online.

Sequel! No seriously. The sequel will probaly be the fight outside the us. If they decide to make a TC3, well, I would mainly guess bringing the fight and killing the Drudge's leader. TC4, the Drudge's homeplanet. Thats a bit too far but thats my best gues.

lol

I know whatcha mean. I played through 25% of the campaign and then jumped online to check it out. I'd be lying if I said I don't feel the online competition pulling me in. Not to take away from the offline play though by any means but yea, I love being competitive.
