the missing racket

Yesterday played online against someone who had no racket?? same player also seemed to be benefitting from this bug that holds the ball up on their baseline.

Are these things bugs or are they cheats the opponent is using?

Very frustrating as my online record is not as bad as it appears but I would guess about 25% of games I play seem to have this ball hold up issue which makes it very difficult/impossible to win the game.

Do Sega intend to address these issues or is this as good as it gets?

I've played someone with no racket. I'm not sure if it's a cheat. I know how you feel, I couldn't even win a point as I had no idea which direction his shots were going, until they actually went there.
