But I'm not talking about the comic :P

Saw this story come up on aussie-nintendo, thought it might have some appreciation over here. If any of you other guys are still hanging around :P

As part of a case study for its promotional materials behind the title, advertising/branding agency Santa Monica-based Fluidesign has posted dozens of preliminary designs from its work on Headstrong Games's Wii rail shooter House Of The Dead: Overkill.

In Fluidesign's Flickr set, you'll find art for packaging prototypes (each with a "grindhouse" feel and a corny line), logos, shirts, and the game's site. You can also look through sample two-page print ads, and drafts of the Collector’s Edition graphic novel, "Prelude To An Overkill".

Pretty sweet, I saw this stuff earlier today too. This is actually the first I've seen some of the concept stuff they put together.

nice find MrTaco, I liked all the box arts must have been hard for staff to pick one. I think we need to start having inter-changeable box art for games like these ;)
I like the t-shirt designs too.

One of the above would have been a better choice for the collectors edition, they are way better than just the wheel chair.

Or better yet, include them all as alternative cover slips so you can decorate your box as you please :P

And chucking a shirt or two in there as well... sure would've put more Bang into that Box.
