I consider piles a tactic that may seem cheap to some but it's defendable.
Take this for example.
I just got out of a game with two piles(guns still smoking). Both were piles. I use a sniper with five sniper cannons and treads. I go around 158 so I can move around pretty good.
Map: Saint Yves Southern Bay(not exact name)
They both spawned at base one and came across the bridge almost so fast I couldn't see them crossing. So I back up by the combas watch them through my scope and shoot a few times to see if there gonna move or let me shoot them(it happens). So after I figure out that I anticipate my shot and take out the :):):):)pit or the wheels(if there really fast). If you choose to go for legs continue to shoot them after they blow up(big target and does damage vs the :):):):)pit). They both came close to my base(I just got on lol).
Basically piles are a tactic used in games like heat seekers and other tactics people complain about. Piles can be defended. Just gotta use your head and have a fast and accurate aim.
