Chapter 1 Part 1

"Damn this world!" thought Khaos has he struggled to get through the incessantly tightening trees. Luna was hacking away furiously with her Sun & Moon staff, hoping to God they could get out. Finally Khaos stood up and yelled, "*** this!" He pulled out his broadsword and with a single powerful sweep, cut down all the trees. He smirked. "Take that." Then a peculiar thing happened. The tree simply popped up again. His eyes glowed red and let out a stream of curses. Luna walked up to him and frowned. "It'll be okay." Luna was 16, along with Khaos. Khaos wad spiky, silvery hair, a red and blue vest with a t-shirt underneath, a long broadsword, and a six-shot gun. Luna had long black hair, blue eyes, and wielded a Sun & Moon staff. Khaos calmed down. "We shall rest for now."

Chapter 1 Part 2

That night....

Khaos laid back on the wet grass, staring blankly out at a crimson night sky.He blinked his eyes. Once. Twice. "How is this happening......." thought Khaos, "I must find a way out to pursue him..." The wind whistled through the grass and I could hear Luna sleeping.Ah, Luna. It had been a stroke of good luck to meet her. It had all started 2 years ago on a old winter night......

Khaos was running upstairs to his mother and father. His mother, a devoted woman who spent all her time at home, and his father, a greedy politician with a lust for power, were both rather young. He had wanted to wish his mother a good night. When he reached the stairs he noticed a seeping red sweeping through the rug and quickly opened the door.He saw his father there, clutching what he now knew was a knife.

The next day he overheard his father talking to a slave merchant.....He was going to be sold!He had run away to the streets to an old man, who taught him to fight and steal....and he betrayed him. One day a mysterious man had offered money for his death....and like a fool, he had done it.He finally realized what was wrong with his life and set out to destroy his father, who in his absence, had taken over the throne, and was exploiting the planet for his own selfish desires....

It was so cold there in the forest that as Khaos let a lone tear fall down his face, it froze. The realization came to him immediately. "Quick, Luna! We need firewood!" Luna got up and shook herself, rigid with cold. "Lets go, then!" They raced through the forest, hacking away at trees, and while they immediately grew back, they still managed to get enough wood. They raced back to where they had made camp with the lumber. They set it up, and put stones around it, and Khaos began to use his fire spell...

"Flagrashhhkiii......

"Flame.."

The wood immediately roared with sound of burning wood. They dashed to the fire to get as warm as possible. They sat there for a long while, near the fire and warming......Just then, they heard a noise. It started like a howl, then changed to a roar. Khaos looked frightened. "Bakshis...."
