The ps3 version of the ign review for bayonetta talks about how bad it is and how the load problems/frame rate drops are STILL there to use an example sadly..

According to that article, the PS3 has a lot more load times. I thought the whole point of the PS3's install feature was to reduce load times. :0

The PS3 version has no install option as of now, maybe it will when SEGA releases the patch

The game was just reviewed by gamespot.com XBOX360 got a 9.0/10 and the PS3 got an 8.0/10. I pray Sega puts out a patch soon. I only have a PS3 and it's frustrating knowing I can only purchase a rushed version of the game with 3 main technical flaws. God if I have to hear one more time someone saying I should be grateful that they even put it out on the PS3, I don't know what I will do.

Patch or not I'm getting this game. I've been dealing with slowdown since I was a child. A few framerate drops haven't stopped me from buying a game before nor have loading times. If I didn't buy GTA IV because it slowed down every time a lot of explosions occurred it wouldn't be one of my favorite games this generation. I've got the PlayStation. I just need the $60.

Just played it myself on the PS3. Minus the god awful load times all over the place and the slacking frames per second the game is really great. If Sega can fix these via patch within a decent time after launch ( 1 week) I would cry like a school girl. Sure 1 week doesn't seem long at all, but these issues have been known by everyone for such a long time. If those 2 issues could be fixed, I think the game won't be the only one having climaxes.

SEGA is working on a patch... it's just a matter of when they get it done.

it is a shame that sega did not develop the game on play 3 and they did a strictly port.i do not like to play arcade games with the xbox controlller but with the ps3.sega you are ****ing losing money.360 controller is good for racing games cause it is a rip off from the dreamcast.i like playing forza 3 with that controller but when i play god of war collection it is so easy qith the ps3 controller.again do a ferrari f355 for 360 or ps3 i do not mind but do it.forza 3 does not reach f355 even in 1000 years.

Rented it for PS3, my god does it ever live up to the warnings about the loads placed on it by critics..

There is no freaking excuse..

I can't even think of a last gen game with more/more ridiculous loading..

Suikoden 5 is a good example for one of the most/longest loadings in a game. PS3 Bayonetta beats it..

If you love the extreme combat genre and you own a PS3 (after having a xbox360 which RROD on me) most probably you were counting the days before bayonetta hit the stores, right? ... but then came the two reviews: one for the xbox and one for the ps3. Most multiplatform games have only one review, hence one score, but guess what? the game you have been waiting for so long is not only inferior on your console, but it's VERY inferior (sigh).

Please SEGA, please... work on a patch to minimize the flaws for this great game. And for bayonetta two, please remember that people that love DMC and ninja gaiden get the same experience in both consoles and this is something us fans appreciate deeply.

Yeah trust me it is good only game in about 3 year ive actually sat and played through the different dificulties, now on 3rd play through and doing it on infinate climax :)

Alright, that settles it. I'll pick it up when I have the chance, but ill get myself the 360 version because of what i've heard about the PS3's loading times.
