I found old Sega Megadrive 1 (EU Version) but it isn't functional :-(. Led control shinings, but sound and video aren't functional. I am electrician and I need scheme this Sega Megadrive or leastwise photos of Sega interior with electro parts. Please, I need to repair it. Thank you :)

If it's getting power,I would assume that the contacts at the location of the A/V port may need to be resoldered or maybe it could even be your cords,You should check them for any cuts,I had this problem with my SNES,It was just the A/V port on the motherboard, some quick resoldering got it back up and good as new.

However, it is seen that he did with the Sega ever played. There are traces of soldering.
But thank you. Port can be next idea :-).

My SNES doesn't work either. How do I open it? What tool is used to open it?

For the SNES you need a specific tool refered to as the Nintendo Gamebolt, off hand I don't know where you can find one though.

a hack saw. The thing was made un openable so you need to cut it open.

Off Topic: You should really make a new Topic for your SNES and then give me the link to it via PM and I can help you more on the situation.

On Topic: Any update as far as your Mega-Drive being repaired?

I did not know that the SNES is so protected.

Yeah, from SNES on Nintendo used funky screws for their systems. I wouldn't be surprised if the top loading NES uses them too since it came out after the SNES.

Yep,They made it that secure so people didn't use the technology for evil purposes like using it to rip ROMS.

Specialty screwdrivers....

Gamebits. 3.8 mm in game carts, 4.5mm for systems, most Nintendo
Google search link for cheap prices, I'd suggest ordering a standard screwdriver instead of a bit... some of the bits aren't long enough to reach into the systems. (http://www.google.com/products?hl=en&source=hp&q=gamebit&oq=&um=1&ie=UTF-8&ei=d5N4S7OEFoGgnQfSsZSsCQ&sa=X&oi=product_result_group&ct=title&resnum=3&ved=0CCMQrQQwAg)

Tri-wing, used by Nintendo handhelds. Very cheap. (http://www.dealextreme.com/details.dx/sku.2905)

Sega used standard screws for everything. Microsoft uses some non-standard but you can find their type in bit sets from a hardware store. Sony uses standard screws but with caps over them.

Well,3.8mm is for the SNES and the game cartridges,4.5mm is for n64,GC and Wii.
