hahaha I swear they had to be morons to think changing the series THAT MUCH could ever be a good thing. It wasn't even remotely Sonic... Hahaha if they did that, I'd just laugh and never buy another Sonic Werehog game again and laugh at all the people who enjoy playing that... I've noticed that since the werehog came out. What a great opportunity to revive ristar that was wasted on the werehog.

Sonic Unleashed should've been a Sonic and Ristar cross-over. Sure, people would complain and whine about "this isn't a Sonic-only game", but come on, it's Ristar. it's part of Sonic Team's history.
And we wouldn't have to get annoyed by that werehog thing.

That would have been an interesting take on things. Personally I enjoyed the werehog levels - I just thought they were a bit long. That being said, I could play the daytime levels over and over again.
