list off potential zone names and bosses just because you can. a potential list could be:

Zone 1: Super Sunshine Zone
'Help Sonic fight through this sunny world!'
Boss: Eggman tossing bombs at you, jump up a few platforms to beat him.

Zone: Misty Islands Zone
Sonic must free the islands from the evil grasp of Eggman's hand before he destroys the islands!
Badniks:
Palmy- An evil Palm Tree badnik that throws exploding fruit and slices things with it's leaves.
Crabby: A crab badnik that you face at the beaches of the islands.
Boss: Lake Monster
In the lake at the middle island, Eggman faces you before Sonic attacks him, a huge Lake Monster blasts him away. You better subdue this guy quick, before Eggmans gets to the next zone.

Well...As I said before in some threads, maybe it's time to bring some of the famous scrapped levels to use in here

Egg Mine Zone-A mine filled with Badniks Eggman sent to find powerful stones like the Chaos Emeralds and Master Emerald.

Badniks-Badniks that have drill and pickax based weapons



Deep Sea Base Zone

Hidden Palace Zone-A complete Hidden Palace zone based off the one that was suppose to be in Sonic 2.


Egg Jungle/Desert Zone- A jungle/desert area where the Death Egg crashed. Have pieces of the Death egg scattered throughout the zone (for that nostalgic feeling)

or Act 1 is the Jungle/Desert and at the end of act one you find the crashed Death Egg and fight the Mini Boss

Mini Boss- A robot that Eggman didn't use against Sonic that was on board the Death Egg when it crashed and somehow survived the crash and activated itself.

Death Egg Ruins Zone-After Defeating the mini boss Sonic enters the Death
Egg and since it is severely damaged less than half of the equipment still works and only at half power so not only is it the Death Egg it is a death trap. Considering the size of the death egg, and not to disappoint the fans it is not the same part of the death egg in Sonic 3 & knuckles, it is an entirely different part, but it will be somewhat recognizable to the Sonic & Knuckles part for fans of the game.

Boss???


After defeating Egmman he flees and Sonic chases after him which he is stopped by an force field. The force field causes the badly damaged generator to overload and blow up the Death Egg. As the Death egg is blowing up the force field shuts down and sonic barely escapes and goes after Eggman who is escaping in a ship. Sonic chases Eggman until he reaches the edge of a cliff and in one last attempt to catch Eggman sonic leaps and misses Eggman and is falling. Luckily Tails catches sonic with the Tornado and they chase Eggman to Space!

Egg Station Zone- A space station built by Eggman where you go through the Zone and fight the Final Boss(es)

Involves hopping on logs and jumping on floating platforms, not to mention water slides.

A zone full of Metal Sonic's in the background and they are all shut down. But as you travel through the level some activate and attack. Then, near the end, you are chased by the original one.

Or, even better, the Metal Sonics could be replaced with Mecha Sonics!

...Okay, I get it, Metal Sonic was the latest so it's illogical. But Mecha Sonic looked truly superior and more futuristic compared to Metal Sonic, and we all know the Sonic storyline is placed in the future, riight?

Zone: Beat Street

Description: Run through a colorful city in the night along a series of roads that look the staffs of music sheets. Some roads have notes on them that make sounds as you run over them, creating a melodies and jingles.

Boss: A ghastly robot floats in the air and drops exploding notes from above. Bounce off of the large neon-colored notes to get to him.

Zone: Typhoon Road

Description: Run along a complex highway of long dragon statues, constantly running above, through, and below storm clouds. Some of these statues breath fire from the head, so you'd better move quickly!

Boss: Watch out! This robot may look like a poor imitation of a thunder god, but he harnesses electricity so well that it makes him physically untouchable. It'll also try to strike you with a very fast lightning bolt attack from the sky. Try to make that lightning hit him instead.

egg paradise zone
A massive Island/airship run through the tropical paradise outside and then enter the machine hell that is the inside of this massive airship

Star Cloud Zone Working title.

(Bonus level, towards the end/after a boss?)

Basically you have to maneuver throughout the zone, jumping on clusters of stars (platforms lol) that quickly dissolve after you stand on them for a period time, collecting as many rings as you can before time runs out, all the platforms dissapear, and you fall back to Wherever-the-game-takes-place.

On second thought that wasn't a very good idea.

Retro zone: sonic become his sprite in that stage and fights retro enemies (not badnicks).

Avalanche zone: Robotnick or metal sonic plant a bomb in a snowy area and sonic has to outrun it and avoid bombs and giant spiked mines and pitfalls on the way down.

Nightmare zone: sonics nightmares come to life and he must fight through it and beat metal sonic, the lvl happens after metal sonic or whoever uses a chaos emerald negative effects on sonic and he has to fight it to get back.

Collapsing catacombs zone: robotnick drilling for the emeralds leads to an underground civilisation to collapse around sonic and he needs to get out and get through certain areas in a certain time or get crushed in the process.

Time chaos zone: after 6 of the emeralds are gathered robotnick uses them on sonic and traps him in a time zone neither here or there, some parts of the lvl will be fast and slow and because sonic's in a time vortex anything can happen.

Skyscraper zone: after robotnick gears up in his new creation and harnesses the remaining power from the ruined death egg and chaos emeralds in his robot suit he has the power to match sonics speed and super sonics destruction, robotnick levels skyscrapers and sonic needs to run out of some of them on time and run on them till he gets near enough, sonic somehow becomes supersonic and the 2 have an epic battle that stops halfway when robotnick knocks sonic into the water with the eggray, robotnick overwhelmed even super sonic.

Is sonic dead?

Robotnick celebrates and orders metal sonic and his newly rebuilt metal robotnick to go after his other friends tails and knuckles, tails thinks sonic's in trouble after he hears the ground shake and hears something that sounds like an explosion and then tails story begins, knuckles sense something bads happening on mobius down below but if he leaves then the master emerald could be taken. knuckles puts it in a safe chamber salvaged from some of robotnicks broken contraptions on his island and goes to see what happens until he bumps into metal robotnick and his story beings after tails.

End of episode one, that's what i'd do if i did it.
