I don't mind people doing that kind of stuff.

It's when pieces of Sonic-related art in DeviantART (characters, locations or whatnot) suddenly get comments that sound like mini-RPG stories involving their (usually recoloured) fancharacters that are involved in sexual relationships with Shadow and/or Amy that peeve me off. Seriously, ANYTHING. From a bird's eye view of Green Hill or Sky Sanctuary, to portraits of Knuckles or Vector. Nothing is safe from those pesky mini-RPGS. That's not really the best/most accurate way of describing them, but I can't really say anything else.

Of course, keeping in "tradition" (at least you'd think so judging from the damn fanbase), Dr. "Kickass McAwesome" Robotnik gets it the worst. Show a picture of him posing in a white background? Expect a comment about some silly "darker and more mature" Amy recolour (or a female Shadow lookalike if you're lucky going "RAHH RAHH RAHH EGGMAN SUUUUUXXXX MEPHILES IS BETAAAAA AND SHADOW IS SOOOOOO HAAAAAWWWWWT" and proceed to beat the stuffing out of poor Ivo (probably because he killed her parents when she was a young girl or some other excuse, but usually it's just because he's not sexy), soon afterwards leaving Robotnik's base (now destroyed because of some DBZ-ish overpowered attack) with Shadow or Mephiles (or occasionally Metal Sonic) to make sweet love. Because apparently you're not a cool villain if you don't look like a bodybuilder....or have chest hair...or...some other tish.

It's now so bad that I'm glad whenever Robotnik kills unimportant relatives. Serves them right. It's their fault for snooping as usual.

I don't pretend to be Robotnik. I'm just an uber fan that mentions him quite a bit. I'm not delusional.

I only know of one user that is called IAMSONIC. But I don't mind He's actually quite lulzy. It' s better than when people act like their fancharacters and talk to them on DA.

What Starfox said. There seems to be a group of impersonators going by a very systematic naming system running around. I've seen IAMSONIC, IAMAMY and IAMEGGMAN, and they're...well, a bit annoying in all honesty.

She never did. I remember when she was active. She was mostly an average, literate user, if just a bit more fanatical about Blaze (which, for some reason, didn't come as a shock).

On the other hand there are a lot of really creepy Sonic fans who take the characters for real, or at least enjoy pretending like they are in a weirdo substitute for human interaction and relationships. I'd like to think that the IAM____ trollers are trolling the real weirdoes via parody, but I guess it's a real genius strategy since it's clearly trolling the relatively normal posters, too.
