Savegame issues

Hey can someone with the PC version tell me the folders where your savegame data and/or profile data is saved so I can create them, please?
I got the Steam version and it's doing the same thing as Mirror's Edge and Mass Effect 2 (stupid unreal 3 engine thing) where I can't save my game because the folder doesn't exist and the game won't create it for me.
Someone please respond soon, I'm dying to play this game but refuse to until I can save my progress lol

Weird, I never played Mass Effect 2 but I got Mirror's Edge from Steam and never had this issue.

It doesn't always happen. Something to do with Steam and UT3 engine and Vista. It's like a "winning combo" except instead a "failing combo"

Do you have AP for PC? Can you check your savegame directory?

Never mind. A friend of mine bought the game and helped me. If anyone else needs to know why they can't save, or have to change settings every time the enter the game - do as follows:

Create a folder in My Documents called "Alpha Protocol" and within this folder create two additional folders called "Profile" and "Checkpoints." Within "Checkpoints" create another subfolder called "MetaData"

for example: "...My Documents/Alpha Protocol/Checkpoints/MetaData"
