View Full Version : I think somethings wrong with these boards

Every now and then ill try and post something, but when i push submit it says i was banned. I click back and i try again and it works just fine. So basicly it keeps telling me im banned in both my S/Ns and it turns out im not. Has this happend to anyone else

Is it always the same computer? Some times diffrent companies juggle ISPs to diffrent users. When A user on your ISP was banned and you get that ISP next time, it might come up as banned. I was just wondering because I see 2 diffrent IPs for you.

Mostly it happens to AOLers though.

Mostly it happens to AOLers though.Well i dont use AOL, and there are times i want to sign in as both my S/Ns and that usally makes one big mess of things, sometimes i use the same S/N with two servers. But it happens even when im using one server.

When someone get's banned by their ISP, it bans others somtimes.. there's only so many ISP possibilities. That's why I have a static IP :wink:

it happens to me too though i use AOL

AOL sort of messes PHPBB boards up. Its a notification that's been brought up continuously. Check out the Q&A section at www.PHPBB.com
