I'm asking another question. I figure answers would help lots of people so I'll just go ahead and ask. Feel free to ask other questions related to auctions in this thread.

Based on what I'm seeing, auctions seem to be blind. You bid, but you don't know what anyone else bid. Is there a way to see how much people bid?

When are auctions over? Are they 24 hours?

What time zone is used to display auction times?

Cheers,
Waggler

Its good to share info. Keep asking just don't expect to get the right answer straight away.

As you say they look blind. I have not bothered with them as all the monsters are common for sale and want something to really go for.

FYI... It looks like you can't cancel an auction once you have bid.

It's called a "sealed bid auction" where people are aloud to make 1 bid with out knowing the amount others have bid. At the end of the period (24h in this case) the highest bidder wins. I think the commission in this game is 10% from my previous sales.
And that's right, once you've put a bid or your item has been bid on you can not remove the item/bid.

Ohh and I have to say, the listing system in the auction house is simply sub-par. I mean you can't even sort it out via date, what kinda auction in a game doesn't let you sort it out based on time?...

I agree, and the search by Monster Name doesn't even work for me.

It's strange. It was definitely working for me this morning because I was checking prices on some goblin archers. But ever since that server reboot it hasn't worked at all

if you click on oldest, a majority of the auctions will have an amendment to the end time, right underneath it, it will say available for immediate purchase

Btw, anyone know what the game timezone is?

Yea I want it so that all the "Auction finished" are clumped together at the bottom, but no matter how I group it they're still scattered around... I've tried all the different sorts such as level, rarity, dp and bid count... Finish date/time just isn't what it bases it on.

If you don't win, you get your money back right?

How do you remove a creature from the auction if it isn't selling?

there should be an option under lists, that's just an educated guess tho.
