I am currently wondering if you are able to join a full world even though there are a ton of people already on it. It would be a shame if friends couldn't join friends on the same worlds if they got in too late, the worlds seem to be filling up rather quickly.

Today I noticed a guy that I had been attacking suddenly disappeared. So it seems possible for people to leave words and let others take their place. If you have people trying to join you on world 3, tell them to just keep trying

my swordsman is lvl8. I've been attacking people with lvl 5-6 units. nothing special. I mostly just attack bases in my area that look like arent being used very much (only 1 or 2 territories conquered). If you successfully raid someone's base you take half their crystals. I took over 300 from the guy that disappeared. lol
I'm not sure if you can totally destroy another base. If its possible it would require capturing their surrounding territory and i'm not close to accomplishing that yet

by surrounding territory are you speaking of even the unclaimed ones yet? or just the ones they have claimed?
also, if you send your unit out to a another base without a road of your own territories to said base, does that trip suck out stamina from your units before they actually get to the destination?. I'm hoping you only use stamina during battle and all it takes to get to a certain base/tower is time.

either or. It's the same principal as capturing unclaimed territory: you need to own an adjacent square before you can claim it. i know that also applies to enemy territory, but i'm not sure if it also applies to an enemy base
