Hi guys,

Here are some screenshots of conquering NPC territories that I have collected.

***Please study them before you decided to attack

***Updated to level 7 Territory and level 2 Tower.

***Bear in mind distance from territory does increase the no. of monster significantly for territory, ie I have personally encountered over 3,000 NPC monster count on a level 4 territory that is

you should note that the level 1 tower has multiple waves that must be defeated. word on the street is 3

Just to clear something up, it's the "Machine" race. Check my post on the super rare weapons to see what i mean. Or if you're lazy, my super rare weapon has a killer bonus to "Machine".

Condensed Tower List:
All towers have a standard number of units and levels. The specific type of monster found is random tho. First number is how many units are in the build. Second number is level of monsters. Last number is how many of each there are.
Tower 1: 2 level 10 750 each
Tower 2: 3 level 15 1500 each
Tower 3: 3 level 20 3500 each
Tower 4+: ??
Debris Tower: 3 level 55 9000 each

Word around the block is they come in waves, meaning you would have to fight these monsters two or three times in a row. However, I have seen no confirmation of this, so I'm a little skeptical. IMO, it could've been a rumor started by someone in a crowded area to make people hesitate to attack a level 1 tower.

Right now I am a little ****ed off!!!
I attackt a Level 3 Territory:
My Leader: Gobil Archer Lv7 (389)
front: Orc MAge Lv7 (432)

NPC:
Leader: Orc MAge Lv5 (386)
Front Giant Bats Lv5 (307)

Goblin Archers attackt the Giant bats anyway :mad: with the result that there were (36) Orc Mage left after round 8, that means I lost the fight. I even lost (432) Orc mage and (119) goblin archers!!!!

Has the Goblin Archer just a range 2, or is there annother fault?

This actually happens to me as well.

My archers shift their targets to front after attacking their leader for a round.

I can confirm there are multiple waves at least on tower 1

Had 1000 gob archers, 1100 gob fighters attacking a tower.
Lost on the second wave.

Second wave was no different, same type of monsters, same level and same number too.

I tried it with Ghost in leader position and Goblin Archers in front position - IT DOES NOT WORK!!! Ghost attacks enemys front position anyway! What the hell is wrong?!

I have got my first level 1 tower today.

Bear in mind after defeating the 3 waves of enemies once, you will have to take around 50 points of durability down

I got my 1st tower down yesterday.
I brough 2500 C Ghosts as Leaders and 900 UC Zombies.
lvl 15 and 13 respectively.
The Ghosts didn't target the leader as much as I had hoped but they got the job done.

I got a lvl 1 tower yesterday as well. Sent 1200 each goblin archer, mages, and fighters. Lost all but 200 archers and lost 300 fighters. Lvl 15.

I have got my tower with 2500 of each lvl 15 goblin fighter (UC) - speed built and goblin mage (C).

Loss like 500 monster in total.

Has anyone got experience with Level 2 towers? ie still 3 waves? force they used to conquer it?

3 waves on a lvl 2 tower as well. All waves are 1500 x3 lvl 15 units. I had 3k each lvl 19 and ended up with 2k 1.5k 2k at the end of the first attack.

i lost 3.5k total after all 3 waves. lvled my monsters to 21 from 19. did 25 siege dmg. haven't taken it yet.

I used Goblin Archer, Orc Mage, Goblin Fighter. Not crazy about them, but they are the highest lvl monsters i have. working on lvling some better monsters, but it is slow while i try to expand with these.

Went ahead and sent them right back in and there were no monsters at the tower. Did 26 dmg to the tower, but still havent taken it. 2 and a half hours between attacks...

Probably beat all 3 waves but not knock down the durability enough to take it in one go. Toon 3 attacks for me to knock down all durability.

Woah Kuchini. I just noticed how much supplies you got for that journey. I'm starting to wonder if it's worth doing 1 Unit like that for supplies.....then again it's meh because you would possibly surpass what your going to get by your base alone in about 4 horus.Now wondering about EXP.

44 hours for 1.5k exp...which my monsters can get in a two-minute journey. When they have full stamina, of course. Oh and each, of course.

anybody who has taken lvl 5, what was in your unit?

For a level 5 land I used

UC Goblin Fighter Level 22, 1235 monsters
UC Goblin Cook Level 24, 1235 monsters
UC Lizardman Ranger Level 23, 1235 monsters

It was a fairly easy win but my units where not strong enough to win flawlessly.
I lost about 120 Lizardman rangers at the end of round 1. I won in round 2 before the enemy could attack.

Yeah I calculated that myself. Would be kinda fun to do cross country with a stray unit. go attack an active player. They will be wondering, "you came to attack me two days away?!" would be nice to see if they invest the time to return the favor

i have been trying hard for acquiring a level 3 territory, but just could not do. every time monsters in the territory changes. the monsters i send are level 8 monsters. can anybody tell me how to do acquire a level 3 territory?
also i have 2 monsters that are labeled as "unavailable", how do i use them for battle??

1. Increase the counts of monsters in your army to 500+ in total, or 700+ if you hate casualty. And don't put a range=1 card in the Leader slot. Level 3 is fairly easy if you know how to place card in right position, and don't be cheap with producing large army.

2. Build the race research lab., for example, Living Thorn needs Spirit lab, Goblin/Orc/Lizardman needs Demihuman lab, Zombie/Ghost needs Undead lab, Minotaur/Troll/Cyclops needs Giant lab.

Depends on if you can tolerate a few casualties - 1250 lvl 13 Goblin Archers and 1250 lvl 13 Goblin Fighters will take it down without much damage taken.

What lvl were your guys? I'm sitting on lvl 23 UC Gob Archer ATK and SPD focused (speed skill focused) and lvl 23 UC Gob Fight ATK and DEF focused. They are at 4k archers and 3.5k Fighters. Thinking I may need more like 4.5k each?

i just took out a level 3 dungeon with 4K lvl16 R guardian lizardman in front, and 4K lv 16 UC gob archers

the waves were all lvl 15
1 - 1500 C orc, 1500 Common mage, 1500 UC archer
2 - 1500 UC zombie, 1500 UC guardian lizardan, 1500 UC archer
3 - 1500 UC zombie, 1500 UC guardian lizardman, 1500 UC archer

and i went from level 16 to level 20.

@burbs - How far away from you was that level 5 tower? I sent a bat to a level 5 about 10 spaces away and only saw 7k x3 level 55s

Also, the level 7 debris which I am right next too, had 9k x3 level 70s....

I'll post a screen shot of forces when I get it.

Until then, it looks similar on the map to lvl 5. I didn't look for too long, but this is the only one i found. I think too far to send my big gobs against it..but I'm curious.

Crap...can you add a screenshot from iPhone or do you have to send it to a computer and post from there? ...won't let me upload. Anyway, it looks like lvl 5 but the mountain is taller. I'll send a Ss when I can

i am 1 spot away from 3 level 5 with my castle, great for resources later on.... i'm going at full STA, ill post results here

leader 1875 x 24 UC gob archer with lvl 3 rapid shift / smash lvl 2 (aiming for mirage shift eventually)
rear 1375 x 24 UC terror

With a unit of 3 cards, roughly 200k each (usually just a bit less) total. (about 40k a wave).

Anyone know what 5s are like? I was considering moving up.

I'm Currently in the process on figuring out how much distance effects the amount of monsters. Currently Testing 25, 50, 100, 200, 300 squares away on level 1 lands, then will be trying it for a few other levels. Screen Shots coming sometime this week.

anyone have any solid figures on the lvl 5 towers, it's getting to the point in world 14 that the lvl 4 towers are totally suck. i have 2 lvl 68 royals, and if i can get the archers to make it from 4 to 7 i am going to try for mirage shift on my gob fighter and dump him in the leader slot until i can manage burst range here is what i am thinking

leader - 4.5K x UC gob fighter lvl 42 lvl 7 assault trick / lvl 4 smash / mirage shift (hopefully lvl 5 mirage shift)
rear - 8K x UC royal lvl 68-70 lvl 1 assault shift / lvl 1 attack aura / lvl 1 typhoon
front 8K x UC royal lvl 68-70 lvl 1 assault shift / lvl 1 attack aura

my attack and defense are all tip top, obviously less so with my gob fighter, but he will lvl quickly, and i should be able to sink all his points into defense, and intelligence to help those skill hit harder.

but what do you guys think?

Ok, constructive criticism time:

Why is typhoon on the rear royal? It can only hit one opponent from the rear slot, it's best on the front.
Also, why sink 3 GF's into levelling up smash? Especially if he's not fighting, might have been worthwhile to pump assault trick or save for another skill.

I assume that the rear royal has typhoon for when the front dies. It's a long-fight unit, not a 1-hit unit. Also, does burst range increase typhoon/dark reel to 3? Anyone know? I've always wondered.

Looking at that list the royals are pretty much the identical units. Wouldn't it make more sense for typhoon to be on the front unit where it would have the best effect?

I doubt it, DR/typhoon both boost 1 range and nerf 3 range units, why would burst range have any effect on either?

As everyone knows, distance plays a huge role on how many you might face when battling.
I've already done a few for level 1 territories and working on level 3's currently.
For level 1

It is not distance that is the key factor, it is TIME spent attacking an enemy. I would do 5 trials each for 5 mins, 35 mins, 65 mins, 95 mins, 125 mins, and then post info- that might provide more accurate data to an actual correlation we can see. Maybe also do trials with lv 2 lands, to see if the same correlation is evident or if there is some sort of exponential correlative growth

well I know for a fact time isn't the factor as I did these a few times with different monsters, a fast level 21 giant bat faced almost the same amount as a level 4 bat even though it took the lvl4 bat 8 hours to get there and the giant bat only 2 hours

Ok lol maybe I was wrong. It just seemed logical to me that time would be the factor, and based on something I read in-game tutorial or quest made me think that. Something about "When you send out troops the NPC is 'notified' and produces monsters in preparation until you get there"

We use a rough rule of thumb in our alliance for older worlds:
Distance * 7.5% * (base # monsters for the level of land)

Example:
Level 1 land 100 tiles away = 100 * 0.075 * 50 (assuming 50 monsters average for lvl1) = 375 estimated NPCs

Obviously, if you want to add fudge factors to be sure you win (e.g. guytrash or GFs for lvl2 lands), then use a higher base # of monsters for the level of land using the spreadsheet, or use a higher % for the multiplication factor.

FYI -- For the new worlds, it seems the factor has been tweaked drastically, as mentioned before on the forums, so this "rough rule of thumb" doesn't work as accurately as it used to.

Most of the data in this thread is now outdated or misleading. All of the screenshots from the first page are only useful if you know the distance, as distance from base is what determines how many monsters you face. The minimum numbers are located on the spreadsheet thread (http://forums.sega.com/showthread.php?355191-List-of-all-monsters-skills-info-(almost-complete)) which is already a sticky.

Also, some of us are currently working on a formula which will allow the user to calculate monster quantities based on distance. This will be far more useful than the info in this thread, and it will more than likely be added to the spreadsheet when completed...and definitely to the wiki site.
