I haven't seen Soriano's CH card yet, but I have to assume it's from his days as a second basemen somewhere, which begs the question: if we have a CH player who is eligible at a different position (or multiple positions) than his normal version, could we potentially start them both? I can't imagine WHY I'd start both Sorianos, but I could see myself starting a pair of Pavanos, perhaps.

Has anyone tried this?

actually, that leads me to a different question. If I have, for example a 1 cycle Alfonso Soriano, and I get a 2 cycle Soriano in a random pack, the 2 cycle Soiano essentially is a wasted card. Sure, his "condition" improves with a flashing up arrow, but I wouldn't get his contract reset, which I think would be a better way to handle this. That said...

If I were to add a CH Soriano, does he take the roster spot of my old regular Soriano?

I think they are a different players now. If you had a regular Soriano and received a CH Soriano, you would now have 2 Sorianos (with both of them continually swinging & missing at breaking balls in the dirt :P)

Can't use both at the same time -- they "count" as the same player (notice they still list for the same team, it's just their picture that's of their career-year team).

Would be fun to have a field full of Sorianos, of course... :)

Thanks! Definitely glad to hear it, as I'm not a fan when games (sports or otherwise) allow duplicates of the same "persona."
