View Full Version : Umm.....You guys DO realize that SEGA has shared the basic story to the game...right?

If you go to SEGA's homepage and click under videos "Sonic Generations" you can read the description under which says this: Sonic’s universe is thrown into chaos when a mysterious new power creates ‘time holes’ which pull him and his friends back through time. As a result, he encounters some surprises from his past history including Classic Sonic, Sonic as he was in 1991.
Modern Sonic and Classic Sonic must defeat this strange new enemy, save their friends, and find out who really is behind this diabolical deed…

Just asking because so many are asking if there's an actual story and all that.

You know, they could've just not made a story and not try to explain it and nobody qould questiong why both of them are in the game :P

Of course I knew this would involve time travelling. Classic Sonic makes the same jump sound affects as he did in Sonic CD.

I was really hoping it wouldn't involve time travel. Mostly because of how horribly they handled that the last time it was used.

The thing I'm concerned about is this "New villain". We all know how people hate new villains replacing Eggman/Robotnik. Hopefully it's someone like Metal Sonic.

The thing I'm concerned about is this "New villain". We all know how people hate new villains replacing Eggman/Robotnik. Hopefully it's someone like Metal Sonic.

And hopefully the doctor will keep him under control this time.

I dunno. I like the idea of Metal taking on Sonic. He's clearly more powerful than Eggman, and deserves some attention.

I hope it is just Eggman and/or classic Eggman.

Metal Sonic could have stolen the time stones....or as Onyx Leo said....FANG!!

Even if it is a time god monster...I care not. I just want to play the game!

It says "mysterious new power" so it might not be an entirely new guy.

Ah, time traveling. I was sure of that. :)

I'd love to see Metal Sonic or Fang make a comeback, but if it's an entirely new enemy, that's great too.
