The latest Sonic game mechanism from unleashed and colours (and now generations). It just doesn't feel right imo.
Fast is great, but it's not easy for anyone to pick up and play, just like classic sonic gameplay. It feels like you are just going on a set route, passing set obstacles too easily. I also don't like speed boost that much either. I feel that it kills off the fun you had jumping on enemies and exploring different routes like you normally would on the classic sonic games, as opposed to just blasting through them. The blue light that appears in front of sonic's face is a bit annoying, too. :rolleyes:
Don't get me wrong, the speed is exhilarating, the design of the levels are stunning and the way sega did it was very intelligent. I just don't feel the freedom I normally would on Sonic the hedgehog, 2, 3 etc...
Can't wait for generations to play as classic sonic!
