It's Classic Sonic, technically. It does look a lot like modern Sonic though, but he's sort of like a half-way hybrid. I think it is the model used for Fan Remix.

I went down to where it says --MLB_Manager_Online ( It is in the lower left corner at the bottom of the forum ) clicked on the Sonic Colours Skin and nothing happened. I wish I could change it.

Heh, I get it - you don't care for this skin. Color wise it matches the logo perfectly and aside from your postings it's pretty universally liked among the group here. It's received more positive feedback than any skin we've released so far, which is always fun to see.

Perfectly fine to not like a skin, but it's going to be impossible to design something that everyone in the forum is going to like, nor is this our goal. We're pretty happy with how this turned out and it's here to stay :).

I made stylesheets a while ago that you could use to overide styles made by SEGA with a firefox add-on

but that was for the old version of vbulletin, so it wouldn't work now.

I'm under the impression that the white background/void of eternal whiteness seems to play a very important role in Sonic Generations, so the skin works for me. They can always color it in with more details...once we get more details on the game. :)

Plus it is easy on the eyes.

My reactions to the Generations skin is quite mixed.

The white background makes the forum very easy to read, and the blue shades are very inviting. However, my main problem is when the blue is near or next to the yellow or red. Although these colors don't precisely complement each other, the brilliant yellow or red with the faint blue really vibrate off each other, and it's very distracting. Granted, red, yellow, orange, gold, and "Sonic" blue are the colors of Sonic Generations, so, yes, that's important for brand identity reasons. (The color choice of the logo, though? Perfect. They really scream "retro.") Yet, I feel that there could be more tweaking with the buttons' colors so they fit more with the blue.

Aside from that, it's an okay skin. But it ain't as terrible as hoggys makes it out to be. ;)

I have just been to The Mario And Sonic At The Olympics Games Forum and what do I see another beautiful skin.

Now I really am furious at the way you are treating this game with SHEER AND UTTER CONTEMPT!

Why is it that all the Wii shovleware games get the gorgoeous backgrounds and the HD games gets the worst monstrosity on record.

That proves my point that the Admins love the Wii shovleware games and that this game can goto hell becauase it is not a Wii shovleware game.

I know what they were thinking, "this is not a Wii shovleware piece of crap. It doeasn't deserve anything. Give it the worst skin on record"

Yellow and red? This skin is 95% sky blue and white, which looks cool and is easy on the eyes. The yellow and red bars match perfectly the current Sonic Generations logo, too. This 'plain' -- as some put it -- white and sky blue skin looks very professional, and very pleasant to the eye. I like that it looks less childish than other Sonic skins; after all, this game is aimed at people at least in their late twenties, haha.

Sorry but I think it is horrible.

The red and yellow are just disgusting and the header doesn't do anything for me either. I really was enjoying using my own Sonic Colours skin ( that I got here ) for this forum. Can we not just use the Sonic Forum skin as at least that has a nice background and not just plain white. It is far to plain and boring IT NEEDS A BACKGROUND!
