This is very petty but I remember the first picture of the original Mario and Sonic I saw was Mario racing Sonic and somehow Mario was ahead. Then for Mario and Sonic Winter games Mario was beating Sonic at something or other and now Mario is flooring Sonic =P Do Sega secretly love Mario =P
The pictures look great though and the dream events looks cool =D I loved windy valley =D
I hope Mario and Sonic at the london olympics is the best yet =) Maybe one day the success will give both Sega/Nintendo no choice but to make a platform game featuring both =D

I gotta say, Nintendo and SEGA did a really great job on the 3DS graphics. And the Windy Valley on the Wii version was cool. I guess the compition is like the Winter Olympics Game.

Oh right, he did originate and star in mostly Nintendo shovelware. Expected.

Edit: No seriously; you guys put in actual characters as REFEREES and NPCS only to use "costumes" on crappy Miis as a cop-out for doing a little extra work. You saw how great those little abominations worked out in Colors, didn't you? How about you actually do a bit of work and release it closer to the Olympics and get more characters in? Oh right, shovelware just like Colors was.

Also; what is with the header and forum skin? Why is it not a beautiful skin? Why are there so many wrinkles? What is happening? Oh no, I'm melting... melting away!

I see loads of Spanish....hm..a few new screenshots....looks promising....heh, I noticed that Mario and Sonic have the same number of gold medals in that one shot. Equality as only potential lawsuits can muster.

Mario, Sonic and all their respective friends and enemies are back again in the mini-game collection based on the Olympic Games. There will be around 30 new events in the package plus some returning events from Mario & Sonic at the Olympic Games. Sega showed off three new Olympic events which were cannoning, badminton and show jumping. Yes, it is pretty ridiculous watching Bowser race around on a horse.

As for the dream events, only dream discus and dream long jump were playable and both were pretty fun. Dream discus sees all the characters racing on flying discuses and collecting as many coins before they reach the finish line. Dream long jump sees the players running through a course until they're the last surviving player.

These dream games are a lot like Mario Party or New Super Mario Bros. as all four players will be playing at once and everyone can attack each other in order to gain the upper hand. The dream games also take place on stages from past Sonic and Mario games. Dream discus took place in a level from Sonic Adventure and dream long jump took place on a cute little Yoshi's Island stage.

Really, there's not much to say. If you're a fan of these type of mini-game collections and enjoyed the previous Olympic Games, then you already know if you'll be picking this up when it's released later this year for the Wii and 3DS. Also, Sega has yet to provide any assets for Mario & Sonic at the London 2012 Olympic Games so here's the two in furry outfits. Yup.

As a Wii owner who is eager to pick up a fun game this year, I think Mario and Sonic at the London 2012 Olympic Games will be fun. Especially a fun little game to have multiplayer on =)
