Do you want story mode to return?

As you may or may not no, Winter Olympics DS had a story consisting of Eggman and Bowser stealing winter spirits with intent of wrecking the olympics and Mario and Sonic (Sonic going the mute route along with Mario) trying to stop their foes, all while meeting their pals along the way.

Would you want another story mode in the coming game?

I don't see why not. It wasn't too bad, and only Toad got annoying since he talked too much.

I would prefer if they drop the Mii and costume garbage and actually put some of that time into actual characters but looks like they don't want to.

I've never played the DS version of the games but I like it without a story mode. Especially since the one described sounds really lame.

yeah. mostly because 20th anniversery game > another mario and sonic.

maybe yes, if the developer decides to put it. i really want a story mode for the next game. if so, what is the story then?

Yeah I would like story mode to return but not only on the handhelds. It would be cool if it was on the consoles as well.

Why it wasn't on the consoles, still alludes me. I, quite frankly, don't get the point of putting exculsives concerning a style of gameplay or storytelling in different versions of the game.

Agreed. I would like to see a story mode myself, and the one for the Winter Olympics on the DS was not so bad. Though he did talk to much, I was not so annoyed as E-25 may have been.

Still, I would love to see a story mode.

If they did it right, it could add a lot to a game that would otherwise be fairly pointless. Also, they should add some customization to the characters, that could make the game more interesting as well. Also, Big.
