- A large portion of The Legend of Spyro: The Eternal Night GBA worked on this title
- music composed by Norihiko Hibino
- Griptonite actually pitched the game to Sega
- level designers didn't work on Spyro
- brand-new combat
- most enemies are one-hit-kill
- juggle enemies for bonus points
Now, this is the good Spyro game. All the titles of the same name on other platforms (developed by other studios) were bad, while the one by Griptonite got good reviews. Actually, it has gotten some of the best reviews for a Spyro game!
