Just look at how many people is viewing this part of the forum.
We need a Platformer Mario and Sonic.

I care about the soundtrack.

Winter Games had some pretty cool remixes.

This looks better than the next Call of Duty game, but that's all I will say about it.

This game is a party game, it's target audience is families looking for a fun game for the whole family. This series is actually their best selling series according to AutoSaver.

Sweetie they're just not for you.

Just going by the massive sales the series rakes in we know lots of folks enjoy them enough to keep buying them.

The biggest reason nobody comments in these threads is because the demographic that does care about the series doesn't dare venture too far into the world of video game forums.(they've got to keep their sanity for their family's sake!)

That and I probably scare them all away.;-)

Party mode got me, I love those things.
I'm sold.

Now someone cares about it, get out.

-sigh- You seriously couldn't come up with anything better/producted to do than just post a thread bashing the game without any constructive criticism?

I mean, while hardcore gamers dont really care for it, the game sells amazingly, which should show you that some people care about it. And I care about the soundtrack and playing as other Sonic characters again. (Mario has enough spin offs where I can play as others, so I'm not as interested in that aspect)

Dude you see the forum above this? The one about the 20th anniversary game that everyone's raving about? That is why no one's on here.

And about that Sonic/Mario platformer; never gonna happen.

True and true. I would love a Mario/Sonic platforming crossover, but sadly it will never happen :(

This, the closet you'll get would be the Dream Events and part of the Party mode I assume

Agree with the OP, but he could be a little less rude about it.

What makes you say that?

Sega already stated they don't want to take the risk.

The game is listed in the Guinness World Records Gamer's Edition 2010 book as the "Best-selling gaming character cross-over" with 7.09 million on Wii and 4.22 million copies on DS sold

hahaha, yeah this one. And I don't know why he prefers COD over this. I don't mind, but to compare the two? That's just ****ing stupid, including the fact that majority of the content in MW3 is probably reused from MW2. Too bad Infinity Ward is doing that because they know people are going to buy it either way.

What do they have to lose from such a crossover?

SEGA said they weren't goign to do that. Something about getting a good balance in gameplay being super hard, or something.

Everyone is entitled to express their opinions about games, however saying nobody cares about this game is rather misleading and putting your own opinion as truth. Party games have their fans just as platform games have their own. If you don't care for party games then you should be concentrating your posting on the numerous other Sonic game forums that are available to you.
