Does anyone know what you get for having 999 Amida Buddhas? I'm halfway there and want to know if it is worth grinding the rest quickly or not.

Nothing. Absolutely nada, except for the associated achievement. Despite the text that teases you with a potential reward, there's nothing forthcoming. For the massive amount of time invested in achieving this, one would think Sega might have rewarded players with some sort of in-game perk.

And what's worse is that it takes longer to get 108 skulls than 999 Buddhas...
