Well, I was thinking of trying to make some sort of signature to promote the game, but it would be hard to do in Paint and sadly I cant use Photoshop on my laptop....

Imma tell you this now Ruby, and I'm doing this because I really want this game to succeed in some way. It deeply saddened me when I saw that Rhythm Thief wasn't at E3. You cant let this happen at Comic-con. You should have a demo kiosk or atleast some sort of promotion towards the game there.

And if Phantom R is appearing in Sonic & All-Stars Racing Transformed, you need to announce that at Comic-Con. It would be the best way possible of advertising the game, seeing as it would efficiently spread awareness of Rhythm Thief and would be a cheap way of advertising. I mean, think about that- its advertising a game via another game! Its perfect!

Probably not "I support", its not like Sonic 4 where 60% of the people on the forum despised the game. Maybe just put "Support Rhythm Thief!" With a nice font and then find a nice image to go with it. Preferably one that has both Phantom R (atleast his head) and the logo.

Oh, one tip! If you keep the image format the same or else save your final sig without reducing the file quality, it should come out just as crisp as the original. Right now it looks like your sig has some slight fidelity loss going on, which makes it just a little blurry. :)

For some reason it seems like barely anybody even noticed the game in Europe. When the demo came out in Europe no one even noticed it, and went it's release date approached Europe's biggest game retailer, GAME, wasn't stocking new games. Rhythm Thief just got extremely unlucky in Europe, and that's what has me scared. SEGA games usually fare much better in Europe, and without Europe to back this game up this time, it absolutely needs to sell enough units in America, or else if there ever is a sequel I doubt it will make it overseas.

But enough of that! The games release is far too close to think of negative things. We need to focus on spreading the word of this game! Ultimate, I like to see the effort. Spreading the word on the Imsoniac forum is a great way to advertise. Make sure to tell them that a demo is out too!

And on another note, I only have 13 uses left on the Rhythm Thief demo. God I love this game.

The final fantasy one? RT's a lot better~ My brother owns it so I've played both, and yeah. That one's only really about listening to final fantasy music while swiping around the stylus. No epic plot, new and original mixes, fantastic graphics, gameplay variations or anything.

Yeah, I felt the same. It's great for nostalgic fans, so no disrespect to them, but when it comes to which game actually feels like a solid, brand new game (New storyline, cut-scenes, 50+ rhythm games, etc) - I think RT is the winner by a mile. But all of this I write with the obvious understanding that I'm biased in favor of RT, of course. :)

Depending on the size of the store, that might be the case. But a sold-out store means re-stocking, and that's a plus. If sales are high enough that they realize they didn't get enough stock, it's a good win for the title.

Most rating systems, like IGN, are on a scale from 1 to 10. An 8 overall basically means that the game is great and while it may have some flaws, the game overall is worth a look. Some people may consider an 8 a bad score if they expected it to get like a 9.5, but really, an 8 isnt bad at all.

Just want to say I love this game. It was a little slow going at first, but now I'm warming up to it. I guess I was shocked that there is actually a world to explore, but I'm warming up to that aspect now.

I found out about this game a few months ago via Nintendo Power, and I've been anticipating its release ever since! I picked it up as soon as the mall opened on Tuesday, finished it Wednesday, and now when I have time I'm going to get better rankings on each mini-game. The story, animation, characters, music....I'm in love with this game!

Some other news you guys should hear: initial sales / performance of the game in the US is off to a good start. However, to be a success long-term we will absolutely need to keep up the momentum - good work guys, and keep spreading the word!

Like I said, they've been very close. I've checked a few times today, and sometimes it will be Rhythm Thief at #6, sometimes It'll be Kingdom Hearts. Its back n' forth.

Well then: I went on the Gamestop website and now Rhythm Thief is the third best selling 3DS title and the best-selling 3DS title out at the moment! It's only challenged by New Super Mario Bros. 2 and Kingdom Hearts. For a new IP, it certainly seems to be doing better than expected!
