Anyone knows what's going on with Digitalrex? What happened with Shenmue-Online? Any news about the Shenmue III development? What's happening with "The history goes on...", is only the false promise of a game developer? Will Shenmue be developed to Xbox 360?

Why no one new game console use the VMU idea? If SEGA develop a new console with the costumers ideas, you want to help? Can you give your sign to this idea?

Your opinion is important, because we can create a new SEGA Console by the players, for the players... :wink: Trust me...

Yes, I also made a thread in XBOX360 about the shenmueIII mystery. I sure do hope that something is coming out on a next gen system about shenmue, since it would be a shame to leave ShenmueII were it is. But these games cost a LOT to make($20000000 for the first shenmue).

Shenmue online looks.. rough too say the least..
It will never see the light of day out side of Aisa..

I have a feeling that they are going too use the profit
on Shenmue Onlines monthly fee too fund the true Shenmue series.

Shenmue online looks like a very low budget game
but it doesnt matter because in China, Koria
games are way behind graphicly
Nintendo are giveing them N64 games as brand new!!

If you ask me thats a great plan!
Because if you dont know by now
Shenmue games cost ALOT too make..

Maybe the Digitalrex strategy is "...impatienting the players about Shenmue III for 6 years, and then, release it..." Because III x 2 = Six... Well... Maybe...

Shenmue isn't only a game... Shenmue represents life and a new concept in the games development... That's the reason... And please to all: post a idea about the SEGA Players Console too... :D

I don't want to dishonor him :oops: ... By the way "The story goes on" is not a promise from Yu, it's just a sentence that belongs to Shenmue meaned the story (not the game) doesn't end here...

First, if you want Shenmue III wait for Virtua Fighter 5 and an other adventure game!!! So they can make money and experience.

Shenmue isn't only a game... Shenmue represents life and a new concept in the games development... That's the reason... And please to all: post a idea about the SEGA Players Console too... :DTrue. I' m just saying that some people need to calm down beacuse they are acting like the game is there life. I am exactly like that sometimes, but I do' t complain everywhere about it.



I do like the idea of this console, BTW, but we don' t have near enough resources or money to make something like that. Not to mention games for it, and the advertising, and the company to help it take off, among other things.

As you know, the idea of SEGA about the Dreamcast was perfect. But the Dreamcast fall because SEGA Corporation invest so much, much money in advertising (Specially in the :):):):)nal Team, grrrrr). It's time to not fall again... And now we know the specs of new consoles generation (Xbox 360, PS3, Nintendo (Don't Remember the Name)). There are many things to solve, but I hope we can, please trust on you and trust me... "trust me and we'll scape from the city" (from Sonic Adventure 2)...

well there was news of VF5... which means that YS is working on VF5 now (PS3 I assume seeing as VF4 was on PS2), maybe Shenmue 3 might go to PS3, I would be so happy because I wouldn't have to spend 300 bucks to buy a 360 just for 1 game.

If a fanmade console were to be made you'd have to employ the one thing true gamers hate: Hackers. Hackers irritate us so much because of their accute ability to figure out what makes a game tick, then change it. This system would need an operating system, dev kits, compatibility for programmers to take code from PC or Mac and make builds on the system OS. You can't just say "WHOO! LET'S MAKE A SYSTEM!" because it's much more complex than that. Get yourself some coders. Lots of them. Then we'll talk.
