According to the press a russian boy has died after playing a game in a internet cafe for 12 hours, he first fell unconsius then died 8 days later Its not sure what game he was playing but Its still not known what is the cause of his death. weird huh.

at Our local internet cafe you can play games for 10 hours straight, its from 8pm to 6am on a friday. i was going to go But decided to put the money towards a game.

I remember one time playing conkers bad fur day for 8 hours straight. I was sick and then suffered a headache. But then again this was at 4am when my friends came round to stay the night. Tiredness and games don't mix well.

Hey This was 4 am in the morning, i was 10 years old, I mean now i can play games for 15 hours but only occaslionaly, usally i play 2 hours on average every night.

This sort of exhaustion at internet cafes is nothing new. It is this sort of obsessive behavior that shapes most negative opinions on video games. Most of mainstream America and other large video gaming nations, feel that gaming is becoming too destructive. Such as not fostering proper study habits and other responsible behavior. I think that any gamer is capable of moderation (even though I can admit it is a challenge). I think the truly sad thing, is tht this happened already not even two months ago, at an internet cafe in Korea, where a gamer played for something like 17 hours straight, without eating, drinking or going to use a restroom. It is really unhealthy, but I imagine that is just the other end of the spectrum. Casual gamers on one end, then the absolutely hardcore on the other.

Once i stayed up 28 hours playing FF VII after i finally got a PS1 memory card, I got to the 2nd disc almost to the end of it too. i slept for 15 hours then played again :D
