Best House of the Dead game

So what do you think is the best the House of the Dead game. I'm not including Zombie Revenge or the Pinball of the Dead. Those are both great games, but I just wanted to see everybody's opinion on just the shooters

The 2nd was fun. The 3rd one was not. I played the first one once in the arcades, but thats it. The 1st one was ok

3 played well and was verry nice to look at but 2 was tougher and you really had to aim to shoot stuff,i liked it best

I played the first 2 in an arcade. The console version is for people who hate using up all of their quarters :P

House of the dead II, was the ebst one in the series totally kicked a$$ played it alot on my dreamcast!!!

Easily the second one, but who knows, HOTD4 may be pretty good. Comes out for the 360 sometime in 2006.
